As a Scot, Kirsty Young makes me cringe. Snivel, arse lick and pretend to be something she's never been.

A great interview, Mozza at his most congenial while still being edgy. She was wuick enough to catch up when being toyed with but no other quick enough to see it all for what it is: sejf deprecation & self masking all rolled into one. Mozza, I will always, in my strange way, be true to you. PS as one who has worked hard on my Spanish for years, I see signs of real language “fine points” in Moz’ improvements of his Spanish. And extra love for adding Gustavo on Speedway.

Very few people manage to get an insight into Morrissey which Kirsty has done. He'll hate this but he is more normal than he thinks. Of Course he still manages to leave us asking questions and an element of mystery. Whilst we are interested he has managed to be famous and be relatively normal by shunning celebrity. He is clearly very content in his own company. I would love to know does he enjoy a good walk and if so how does he do this in LA.

I like the walnut tree. Strange, very noisy, clangy and melody lacking the rest whereas there's a lot of melody in his music hmm strange diocotomy.

Seeing how song choices on this program is chosen on the importance or influence of the Artists life, if i had to choose 7 songs i would choose...... 1. "fire and rain" James Taylor (1970) 2. "the crystal ship" The Doors (1967) 3. "ashes to ashes" David Bowie (1980) 4. "limelight" Rush (1981) 5. "i wanna live' Ramones (1987) 6. "finest work song" REM (1987) 7. "guitarra" Madredeus (1995)

Firstly I have to say I am a fan (Of the Smiths more so than his solo career). But for someone who is a lyrical genius, he is an awful interview. I find his awkwardness and diversionism very off putting. Still love his art though.....

He sees in his interview he is fascinated how people live their lives what he means is what a s*** life most people have. But what sort of life would he have if he wasn't rich and famous. Always annoys me when someone from a working class family put down other working class people. Now he has made it. And don't get me wrong I love Morrisons music
