i'm so late to this and i wish that i found this sooner but as someone who doesn't have the means to go to new york, i am so glad to have had a taste of watching isabel and danaya perform some shakespeare as well as lope de vega(i know almost everyone is here for raul). i love 1:27:00 when isabel seems apologetic about skipping past some of the monologue but excited to perform for everyone again. also love everyone's inputs and insights

Such brave, courageous women terrified of a make believe plandemic so they’re doing this on zoom. Does no one else see the ridiculous contradiction?

This cover is so grown and so much better than the original, surprisingly. Why wasn’t it originally a duet?!

This makes me a bit sad. This amazing company and its wonderful production of A Comedy of Errors was supposed to be a major part of our film about Shakespeare's First Folio (shown on WNET in New York last November) We DID manage to show a little bit, but Union negotiations within the Public broke down and much of the HUGE fun of being with this travelling Mobile Unit, we were NOT able even to film. Not even behind the scenes stuff which would have been great. We DID manage to include a bit of their performance and with the composers, and it's still worth seeing our film. The Mobile Unit are great guys and this is a fabulous show - I just wish we could have done it justice

saw this 'performance' today in Den Haag(the Hague). i felt it was shallow...devoid of anything thought provoking to the point of being boring, though i know most conservative mentalities would have found it shocking and obscene...and it didn't seem like the narrator, rachel mars, did anything BUT(and yes...i COULD make a pun here if it was worthy of such feedback) narrate...the only piece i found worth my time was one by Frida Kahlo, which i thought was poetic... what i thought was a shame was all the correspondences by james joyce...referring to sex as 'dirty'...as if most of humanity needs that sort of reinforcement for exquisite acts that have been deemed shameful and sinful by too many authoritative institutions throughout human history... i guess i was hoping for some feminist feedback/perspective that might be a bit enlightening... and i wish i had the opportunity to know what the audience was applauding when it was done...i'm thinking that maybe they might have mistaken what is usually scandalous or unspeakable for hip...or...maybe i just didn't get the point of the piece.

I say Hell’s Kitchen deserves to win for Best Musical, Best Performance By A Leading Actress In A Musical (Maleah Joi Moon-Hell’s Kitchen as Ali) Best Direction In A Musical (Michael Greif - Hell’s Kitchen) and for Best Book of a Musical (Kristoffer Diaz - Hell’ Kitchen) I really want Hell’s Kitchen to win for Best Musical, please. I’m a huge fan of Alicia Keys. Hard to believe that she grew up in Hell’s Kitchen in NYC. Hope we get a film adaptation of the musical broadway soon with either Sony Pictures/ Columbia Pictures or Tristar Pictures, Lionsgate, Paramount Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox (which now goes by 20th Century Studios), Fox Searchlight Pictures, or Warner Bros Pictures or Warner Bros Pictures/ New Line Cinema distributing the film (As long as it’s not streaming like Netflix and Amazon). Who should direct the film adaptation? I think it should be the one and only Queen of R&B Alicia Keys!

I enjoyed the humour in this. I don’t go to Shakespeare for a history lesson. Rather to be entertained.
