My grandpa Lester jones would have chewed me out for discharging the cut grass up against a fence.

I've always used the mulch plate on my mower less of a mess when I cut

That should be double cause you have to work even harder with the grass being so high right

I have a blueberry picking head (Harvester) on mine. I have the Super Bee and I leave the forward lever set at the speed I need and control my hydraulics lever with my right hand and all the maneuvering with my left hand. I and others have videos on you tube harvesting blueberries with the Walker mower. Real simple to use. It would be harder to use the other type where I have to operate my hydraulics also.

You set your speed on the forward lever and leave it alone until you want to stop. The reverse levers does the steering reverse your direction and when pulled back a bit it brings the mower to a stop. One hand operation with the left hand reducing your speed.. When your want to leave the machine or just sit there idling you bring the forward lever to the neutral position, otherwise the left hand controls the speed by bringing them back until the desired speed is reached , steer it left or right and reverse;.You do not have to use two hands at all times

The newer ones are really simple to change oil on it and ours has already been modified

They are total scumbags! I never got any e-mails from them on my appointment week and then they claim they lost my account on appintment day. When I called back after they never mowed the grass, they had to re-qoute the job and went from 54 to 192 dollars for a lawn cutting service! They had my e-mail address and knew exactly the spelling of it. There was something wrong there. No Thanks!

They need to take the word can't out of the dictionary. Because the word can't means won't do. We as men can do anything if we put our minds to them. Look at your lawn service I bet you thought you couldn't do that either huh. Keep up the good work bro

I have the same mower and trying to figure out a few things. Do you have the deck in a fixed position. Also if i lower out of the 4” setting it cuts really short and scalps in areas. When i stand back and look at the mower it appears that the where the deck attaches its not level. Is this normal.

Scags a good mower. Just a bit overpriced in my opinion.

I love Walker mowers but the only issue I have with them is their rear castoring wheel. When you turn in a Zero Turn mower, you can turn on the spot with little rear overhang. But on a Walker, you have a long rear section with castoring wheel that spins around as you turn, smashing into walls, fences and trees. If the Walker had a design where the rear overhang was less, it would be the perfectly designed mower. Unfortunately in the tight spaces that I need to mow, a Walker would just not turn in as tight a circle. If only the Husqvarna Ryda Collection wasn’t so tall and had a fabricated deck instead of its cheap pressed steel deck and cheap plastic components, it would be the best IMHO.

The alloy gear boxes are junk better with the cast iron ones from go pro ,walker should install them as standard
