It's my favourite fishing youtube channel Terence fishing. Maby this could help terence catching fish again: •I think terence should wade in a bit on those banks. Those flat banks are wading banks in my opinion.I have seen him cast in very shallow water. •If the water is a bit too cold this time of year a wader is your friends Atleast •Longer running trace than what I can see he uses of the beach so that his bait can move as natural as possible.Mine is up to 80cm and sinker 95cm on calm day and rough sea conditions 60cm hook trace •The ligther you fish the more the bite I have encounter this in my fishing career •Use thinner trace line 0.50mm to 0.55 for general fish and 0.60 and up for kob and brick •invisible leader line for traces don't use yellow or visible line fish are not stupid •me personally always fish with a invisible main line •I see he uses very thickish cotton.I dislike thick cotton and fish can feel cotton with its teeth.Maby invest in one of those big cotton rolls medium one is a must and a thin cotton for finner bait -try casting more in gullies and on the edge of a gullie aka hole.Bank fish love those gullies of sandy beaches -use natural bait I think terence should break his fishing curse I had a 6month streak catching nothing fishing all day everyday. From there I 7/10 times do not blank anymore when I started fishing with a old protea angler. -A rod with a nice soft tip gets more flat pulls in my opinion. Maby this helps you if you read this comment and start catching them again.Looking forward to your episode!

@terencesimpson100 Something that helped me was reading fishing books. Especially the older fishing books and my favorite books by Nicky Louwrence if you can find them. As I read the books I make notes. Any information I get about fishing I also make notes. If I caught a fish, I make a note of what I did, what bait I put on and where I cast. This is very analytical. It helps you to see a pattern. You will quickly see a difference in your fishing it sounds like a study but it's fun. I read through my notes, especially when I don't get bites. It definitely helps me. Don't throw away the older fishing methods from the older days and try to fish like others not sometimes it doesn't work for your style for example I don't fish with dingle dangles and any circle hooks at all. It just doesn't work for me and it's not my fishing style I'm not comfortable with it. I miss a lot more fish with circles where other anglers won't go fishing without it. I also catch old school shimano tld and blue marlin G3 rods and my grandfather's reliable shimano tlds . Now I also want to add the bait that is still gave me the most fish and most versatile. My most favourite bait is sand prawn tjokka mixed I almost always fish with it. But I make sure I always have other baits with me as well.Your bait plays a very big role and the right hook size for the species you are targeting.
