There ain't no hipo car that is a muscle car. Not much more power than a regular 289 4bbl, no 271hp. Same intake as the 4bbl car, not a high rise. Same 4bbl carb, just a manual choke. Only thing it really had for power was a mild cam and slightly freer flowing e mans.

So child labor and slavery are aloud so we can have EV. Or you think we wait first until the child labor/ slavery issues are TOTALLY eliminated .

When you "restore" a classic car like this, you RESTORE it to STOCK configuration. In other words, EXACTLY like it rolled off the assembly line in 1967!! No "resto-mod" add ons!

The Camaro "Mod top" you showed was not a factory option they were done by Barris who offered a wide selection of printed vinyl tops for Camaros and Firebirds. Not very many were sold, and they are rare today.
@packard56827 күн бұрын
The tops were not called "pop tops", no idea where you got that from.

0:50 - Note the fuselage design, where the bottom portion of the doors and rocker panels form a smooth, continuous curve under the body body that envelops the car, reducing its perceived mass and giving it an organic appearance, like a jet fighter. The origin of “fuselage design” was, unsurprisingly, aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, who got his start designing aircraft. At Jaguar in the 1950s, he applied wind tunnel testing and mathematical calculations to designing the LeMans-winning D-Type and the legendary E-Type, considered a nearly ideal combination of aesthetics and functionality. His masterpiece was the 12-cylinder mid-engined Jaguar XJ13, a sports racing car that intended for competition at Le Mans, but disqualified by a rule change, so it never entered production.

What is amazing to me about this car is it took nearly 40 years until the c6 zo6 corvette finally beat this thing in most powerful corvette. This was right before the clean air act of the 70’s. Seeing something with this much power this old and the fact there was like 40 years between this and when cars like this started making power like this again is amazing. 435 horsepower in 1967 is honestly amazing
