I knew that there were a lot of missing indigenous women, but I never understood why. This is completely ludicrous! Why in the world has this not been corrected? And why was it not fully corrected in 2010? At absolute minimum the allowable punishment needs to be the same, and there needs to be some court somewhere (indigenous or federal) that takes care of these cases *at least* at a rate proportionate to other cases. Don't give creepers an incentive to target one particular group of women! This is both baffling and enraging, but I don't know the system well enough to know exactly where the breakdown is happening to know what specifically needs fixed.

Education of young people regarding these issues may change our cultures and societies slowly over time and help create a non-violent and peaceful world. This could be done in schools, spiritual centres and other learning organisations and considered as equal in important as learning skills in math and writing. To a chieve this we would need leaders throughout the word who have a moral compass, however they are in very short supply.

Conflicts come from self interests and selfishness! The lobby law in the voting system is the creator of all inequality. Will people have the power to remove that law? All those lobbyists’ mouthpieces in congress and senate have never been with the people, all they have is with the rich and powerful, so how is that they call themselves representatives of the people? They can call it democracy but they ain’t, it’s plutocracy at best!

What is peace? Peace is belonging, being seen, having a place to exist, having your basic needs met so that you can self actualize in your own life. What does peace mean to you? Peace means I don't have to worry about whether I belong or not. It means I have a place to be be. It means I am seen for me and not the amab body I'm forced to exist in. It means I am not ashamed of who I am or how I was born it means I am at the same baseline existence cis women are at just by being born. It means there is no reason for me to hide. It means I am me.

Thank you for making this very informative video. I’m a white Canadian settler. I never understood what was causing so many indigenous women, girls, & 2 spirit individuals to go missing or be murdered. I figured it was something systemic driving this to happen. Today is #REDress day, so I searched for more information about it on KZfaq and found your video. This really helped me to understand the issue a little better. I’m going to write a letter to my Member of Parliament right now about this. This is both heartbreaking and infuriating.

what is peace? peace is freedom from violence and oppression, peace is equality regardless of gender , sexual identity , race , religion and cultural background , peace is respecting the inherent dignity of every person . come to think of it , it doesn’t cost much to have peace , this is one of the most affordable value in the world , we just have to be a peaceful person , respect each other voices and views , it doesn’t cost much at all to have peace .

our school has a presentation about this that everyone saw, multiple people where brought to tears, I wasn’t even aware of this issue until today, which shows a fault in our society, but i found out about the issue today and will work to helping more people find out about this issue. Our school may 5th is having a schoolwide walk off campus to help spread awareness to this this issue
