I’ve been living with my parents for 4 months while my house is being renovated. A week in I could no longer stand the beep from their microwave to the point I was going to toss it. Thankfully, I found this video

Whoever made this microwave is a sadist and you can’t convince me otherwise.

God bless you. The absolute rage that this machine will bring forth with its beeping is like nothing else. Worse then someone sitting across from you smacking their lips while eating. Worse than stubbing your toe. Whoever designed this was surely an agent of the devil. He must have designed this for the sole purpose of tearing families apart by driving them into madness first at the machine and then unto eachother.

Ok, but if it doesn't beep, I won't get the food. I just want a normal beep followed by a normal reminder beep every minute, not 12 seconds of beeping followed by a reminder 12 seconds of beeping every 8 seconds. Why was it so hard for Frigidaire to get thos right? I will never buy a Frigidaire microwave for this reason alone.

Thank you. This was so easy. Before I saw your video, I visited the Frigidaire site with my model number and chatted with a rep. He said there was no way to change the volume or turn off the beeping. I am embarrassed for the company that their support staff has no idea about their own products.
