Once I complete this, I’m gonna get the tattoo of it across my chest

Adam Reiman and his mate completely flooded a t7 in a river, they didnt take out the spark plugs, they just lifted up the bike and drained out the air filter. Then rode away...t7's are awesome.

what weight does it have?
@burnrubber8972 ай бұрын
Read the fine print. Once they have your money, don't expect your seat for a couple months. Maybe your fortunate to have a longer riding season.
@offroadexplorer2 ай бұрын
Perhaps you're right. Seat Concepts have a huge range of seats which are all handmade. Production runs of foam elements and the availability of seat pans from OEM manufacturers can cause delays. However, distributors such as Adventure Moto in Australia will order the seat and you don't have to pay until the seat arrives.
@burnrubber8972 ай бұрын
Seat pan... Are you kidding? For $260 dollars you get a cover that you have to install on your existing OEM seat.

Do you know if these are compatible with heated grips?
@offroadexplorer2 ай бұрын
Yes, I have Whites Power Products heated grips fitted. If you look at the closeup of the title image you can see a plastic spacer which puts pressure against the throttle tube, not the rubber grip, to hold it in position. Most kaoko kits come with a couple of spacers. This kit is specifically for Teneres fitted with Barkbuster Handguards. Apologies for the late reply but been OS for 3 weeks..

I only hear good things about the Seat Concept seats, sadly living so far from the USA makes nearly impossible to get it here in Bolivia. Great video Offroadxplorer!

I met the guys from Seat Concepts almost ten years ago. Great bunch of guys. Send them an email and they may be able to help you and ship to you what you need.

this video is not correct. You are putting too many pieces to change spark plugs.
@offroadexplorer8 ай бұрын
Hi Valter. We got the plugs out and put new spark plugs in. Job done. I'm sure there's always a another way to do everything. If you have a better way we are happy to view your video on the subject. Happy riding.

Love my T7. But.....this is ridiculous. What about shim check & adjustment? What will I replace my T7 with? Maybe I should have kept my XT660!

Yes, I'm miss the simplicity of my xt 660 too....I've changed the right spark plug this morning, the left one will wait for another day, it's terrible to take out the coils....

Is it necessary to use handle end bar to install this hand guard. Kindly suggest.
@offroadexplorer11 ай бұрын
Depending on the model bike you have. The specific kit you buy for your make and model will be designed to go into the handle bar end and accommodate a handlebar weight if needed.There are Barkbuster handguards that don't require to be connected to the bar end,

I usually look for oil and filters servicing, spark plugs, and somo other usual things, that plays a very important part of my decision when i change my bike, brands should look easy of manteinance too... I'm going to take a look to the new transalp, gs750 and 790...

Wow a ton of work to remove sparkplugs, had I know I might not have bought the T7 coming from a boxer GS where sparplug removal takes about 2 min - but then again the T 7 is such a joy it might just be worth it ;-)

Don’t get discouraged to get a T7 by watching this , there are better and easier ways to do this , just search T7 spark plug mod . This is great video but not something you wanna do on the side of the road

I though on buying a T7, but since I live in a remote area and I must do my bike maintenance, after watching the video I've decided that I better keep my KLR. This is a job I never want to do.

I've been of the firm opinion that hand-guards (barkbusters) are stupid. That was until yesterday. Navigating a narrow and heavily overgrown trail a large piece of some plant went and applied my breaks for me. This caused me to grab the throttle and then do an accidental wheelie. My bark-busters are coming today.

You can replace both plugs from the right of the bike by removing the plastic bit holding the wire harness, zip tie that out of the way and use two universal joints to reach down to the plugs. Don’t even need to remove the tank after the plastic bit is discarded (eg the second time you replace the plugs you only need to remove right fairing and have the right tool)
