I have lived next to this line for 16 years and it is not a BNSF line. The only thru freights are coal and grain brought in my UP. They can occasionally end up on coal trains.

Yes it rents from Union Pacific who also leases it to Missouri & Northern Arkansas which gives BSR their engineers

I’ve rode the Branson scenic railway twice before once into Arkansas and once up north with my family I want to come back sometime and also film the freight trains

They recently lost Royal Oak Charcoal due to the plant closing down. It is for sale. Prior to 2015, a local quarry had a switch just north of Gretna. Currently their only customer in town is Branson Scenic.

Where I railfan here on the heavener sub I see a lot of BNSF foreign power for coal trains mainly SD70ACe’s and sometimes GEVOS

The two trains I have ever seen in person is 14 before and after the rebuild and 504 I really want to see 43 and the other engines

I live like 30 minutes away from sdc. My moms just waiting to for it be less busy so we can go look at the trains by asking a friend who works at the train barn
