Went to cinema in the good old 90s ( :P ) to watch this movie. My friends all complained "Oh no, why you wann see a B-Movie.'". No one complained after watching. Love this movie ever since. it's absolutely great... and the funny thing is, I can't point my finger on it why excactly. Mediocre story and mediocre CGI... but... great.

Helldivers soundtrack is good. But that’s because it’s in the same vein as other sci-fi soundtracks. Like it wouldn’t sound at all out of place if it was just inserted into the first Starship Troopers movie. It’s good, but Halo’s themes are immediately recognizable and set apart imo

I just love that despite mocking absolute militarism and propaganda, the movie manages to make you fall in love with its characters. Truly one of the corniest and most epic stories ever written.
