@@lagginwagin2148 south of Baltimore, about 40 minutes, is a state park called Sandy Point. It’s just outside of Annapolis. You could try there. I was fishing there two weeks ago. I used a 4 oz. Sputnik weight with my Pompano jig but the wind and tide kept pushing it right back along the shoreline within minutes. Also the wind was so strong it was blowing the beach sand right into my eyes. I had to give up after about 30 minutes.

Do you think it's possible to launch a Jonboat on a trailer here? Used to fish this lake a ton in the late 80s with my uncle and his canoe... might think about a trip over there to check it out again if I could get the boat floating from the bank...

@jasonatkinson2898

@@redlightships yeah, what we used to do with the canoe way back... don't have it anymore, and built out the jonboat, no chance of lifting it, but I do have a heavy winch on it... when I used to go there it was right before they ungated the place, so security didn't bother anyone (since you had to have a guest pass from a resident to get there.

Great video. Hello from Canada. I just love grubs. Some of the things I like about them are, they are way easier to acquire and keep in good condition opposed to live bait. They work on pretty much every species of fish, you can imitate anything a fish eats with them by changing the colour and how you fish them, you can fish it in almost every way, lots of people don’t throw them so fish are typically not used to seeing them. They work scented or unscented if you have allergies or going into restricted waters. And they are usually pretty dang cheap.

The one thing that I remembered, it was in the high 80s when I started my hike and it was, i guessing about 67 in that bottom . I went back a couple of times, seems that ravine got deeper each time.
