@@mcjb8362 Thanks for your feedback! The claim in the video that sharks prefer to attack men comes from a study published in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface. The study found that men are more frequently attacked by sharks than women. This might give the impression that sharks prefer to attack men. Researchers suggest that this could be because men are more often involved in activities like diving and surfing, which can lead to more shark encounters. Regarding your second point, you’re right that sharks have unique sleep patterns. Some species do not sleep in the traditional sense but enter restful states while continuing to swim to ensure water flows over their gills. So while they don’t sleep like humans, they do have periods of rest. I hope this helps clarify things! 😊

I lived in Alaska for 12 years. I was shocked to know that most of Alaskans have a degree in some field. It takes intelligence to live off the grid. One friend homesteaded an island, and named it Perl. He went on to build a two story 4 bedroom log cabin with a view of the ocean. The only way to get there was by airplane. He had a Stinson with a powerful motor. It was so much fun to round up some friends and spend a weekend on the island. Since it faced the ocean he got good at knowing the signs of a storm coming in. There were times when we would just leave the house and leave everything as it was and run for the plane when a big storm was coming. Alaska and South Island New Zealand are the two places I recommend when someone asks where were my favorite places I have visited.

@ShortFDaily
@ShortFDaily Ай бұрын
The Jacobson’s organ, or vomeronasal organ, is actually a separate organ from the nose. It is located on the roof of a cat’s mouth and is used to detect pheromones and other chemical compounds. While the nose handles regular smells, the Jacobson’s organ has a specialized role in sensing these specific types of chemicals. 😊

Without bees, our food supply would be severely impacted. Bees also maintain biodiversity and support ecosystems by pollinating a wide variety of plants. Economically, their pollination services are worth billions annually. Numerous studies and reports from organizations like the FAO and IPBES highlight their essential role in agriculture and ecosystem health. So, bees are indeed vital 🐝

@@ShortFDaily not true, Bees only pollinate 75% of everything because they are an invasive species that destroys many ecosystems and like I said, if you cared to do even 1% research, they are not even the best pollinators. If bees were to die out all we'd lose out on would be honey.
