The first stirrup must be 4 inches from the bend bcz it must cast in the foundatiin
@GFORCECHRONICLESАй бұрын
If you're going to criticize work, make sure next time you ask the correct question: why is the stirrup not 4 inches from the bend? Don't assume it should be 4 inches from the bend. In this specific foundation, 4 inches from the bend is not workable. It might be suitable for a different foundation, but not this specific one. For your other concern, on this project, more than 3 stirrups are covered under the concrete on each column to provide more strength and stability to the structure. Thanks for watching. 👍

You are shocked that I debunked what you assumed with factual answers of why and why not. One love, have a wonderful night. You're entitled to your opinion on my video; that doesn't mean you're right, and it doesn't mean I'm wrong either. Thanks for watching.

Question…you used 1/4 wire because that is what the customer wanted? Even though the building code requires 3/8 steel?
@GFORCECHRONICLES2 ай бұрын
"That is what the customer wanted us to use on the fence wall, but in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with using quarter wire. It's all about the quality of the concrete mixture If that's within your budget and there are no special building code requirements to use 3/8-inch steel in your area 👍

Great stuff bro. What length are the links please? 🙏🏾 👊🏾
@GFORCECHRONICLES3 ай бұрын
you can use either of these option Cut the 3/8 steel 19 inches in length, with finished links of 14 inches and a 2 1/2-inch bend on each side. are, cut the 3/8 steel or quarter wire to 18 inches in length, with a 2-inch bend on both sides, ensuring that the finished links are always 14 inches in length due to the 2 inches of coverage on each side when concrete is poured into an 18-inch-wide foundation. Both options ensure that the links provide 2 inches of coverage on each side when used in an 18-inch-wide foundation. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask! thanks for watching 😊
