I was playing something like this at school saying it's 5/4, then the teacher started playing Dave Brubeck on the piano to my beat in order to check if it was really 5/4 😂🤦‍♂️

I always liked sabian sound control crashes in churtch (LOL showing my age😆), vibrant colour and warmth even at low volume. I once tried Zilsdjain A's but found them to be too clunky. But I've grown to love turkish/anatolian crashes and crash rides,very sensitive and natural sounding. What amazes me is how a good cymbal can interact with other drums and cymbals to bring out even more sonic colour and variation

Wow, thank you for this video. We have a very low and small space for worship so cymbals hearing very loud. Tell me please, do u recommended Zildjian K custom special dry or Custom Dark ?
@vmdrums_
@vmdrums_ 3 жыл бұрын
Honestly, both of those series sound fantastic. It’s more a question of preference in that case. However, I’ve heard the custom special dry in person and love the character of quick decay, so I’d recommend those.

That was honestly clearer and made more sense than some of the Drumeo videos I've watched. Recently started exploring odd time signatures because I love funk and jazz, this will help immensely. Thanks!
