Alan was just too cute, and too pure, for this messed up world. I loved his laugh, his smile, just everything about him was 100% loveable. I miss seeing him on the screen, killing it like he always did. May he fly high forever in Heaven.

She had no business publishing Alan's private diaries . It is not clear whether he wanted them published or not , according to the publisher. That book entries are so ambiguous that a lot of his fans were led to make false assumptions about Alan and his sexual orientation, lies for chich he can't defend himself . He left her millions. She could have donated some of that money to fund pancreatic cancer research instead of exposing his private diaries for the whole world to see. Alan should have been the one to decide if he wanted to publish his diaries and what to include in them, not someone else.

Such an unfortunate choice of partner. Not only did she deny him kids,she never wore the wedding band he bought her nor did she take his name. On top of that, she published Alan's private diaries without his consent and tarnished his memory. There have been comments from Alan's fans since the book was published, unfounded assumptions about his personality and supposedly double life as gay or bi. Things about which he can't defend himself. All because of the way that book is written. The publisher Alan Taylor states in the diaries foreword that it's not clear whether Alan wanted to publish his diaries, and Rima approved of that book and wrote the afterword. That means she approved of what Alan Taylor says in the foreword too. That statement is there, it's irrefutable and cannot be unwritten. I wrote this comment because of what Rima's fervent supporters claim that she was his soulmate and knew what his wishes were blah blah blah..... All that from a woman who loved him, as her supporters say. I dread to think what she would have done if she didn't love him .

I think she was scared of having children. The way she acted around the idea is suspicious. She probably didn't want to waste her money on children. Alan had said in an interveiw that he wanted a family and a dog, but said he didn't have the time. Rima could have taken care of their children or pet since she clearly had nothing better to do. I think Alan adored her, but she was only in it for the money.

I believe when they first started going together as much as Alan love to have children it would have come up in a conversation. Had she told him she did not ever want children I think he would have left her to find someone else, this is before he got famous, before they had a lot of history together. They could have stayed friends but he could have looked for someone else to have a family with. So I think that means that she told him she would have children at some point and so he stayed with her why not he liked her a lot? And maybe through time he asked her again about children and she kept saying that she would to a point where finally time was catching up with them or she just told him flat out I never intended to have kids. Now you realize a lot of celebrities have children and pets and they take them everywhere they go so that is not really an excuse not when you have money. And I don't believe he would have worked so hard if he had a family to come home to. He'd have been healthier, ate better slept better taking better care of himself maybe still be alive. I would have given up some movies if I knew he would have been happy and healthier. But I think once he got the cancer the prostate cancer and any hopes of having children was definitely gone I think he realized how he wasted so many years and now there's nothing he can do about it so he tried to make the best of it and his relationship but you can tell he's got a certain sadness about him and he's not really that attentive to her when they're anywhere out in the public. But I think he would have been hurt and felt betrayed if she led him on all those years telling him she would have children and then to tell him at some point probably when he got famous she would have been like 40 when he did die hard, that she had no intention of having children. Because it was always important to him because he always loved children and you can see it in his face when people who are interviewing him mention are you going to watch these HP movies again with your children and grandchildren?? The look on his face and the way he changes subjects quickly it shows it bothers him to talk about it

We do not know the truth, but I think she was a bit selfish. She should have gave him at least one child or leave him in time if she knew how much he wanted to be father. A real soulmate would have done this. He always supported her in everything and she...?!

I understand that, because I work with children and don't want to have my own children. So, that's not a problem, I don't know her reasons she doesn't want it, but for me there us no contradiction.

She didn't have to take care of those children at her own home that's why. Didn't want responsibilities, people like her just want to be involved to show they care.

@@savannahsputnik1663That is as far away from the truth as you can get!! Those that worked with him and knew him for years, even back in his early theater days said specifically HE WAS NOT GAY OR BISEXUAL! Although he could be flamboyant in parts quite easily, he was in no way gay. This is from people who worked with him and knew him. To even imply otherwise is wrong and misleading. Not only that he was faithful in his relationship with Rima. No matter what kind of relationship they had even if a little unconventional maybe, it didn't matter there was never any rumors of any kind of affairs with anyone ever! He was known to have a strict moral code, their words, to the point of being puritanical. Alan was one-of-a-kind a very special and unique man. That was his character. To imply even, that he was something he was not, is grossly abhorrent. That is mislabeling his sexuality, which I believe is frowned upon these days. Alan was a heterosexual, pure and simple. Just because he was faithful and in his own words, he's never remotely been sexually voracious, does not mean he had affairs or was gay or bisexual.
@Libra-v1r

@@savannahsputnik1663Alan was not gay or bi that's ridiculous. He was so famous that paparazzi would have found out if there was a remote possibility of him stepping out with another woman or man. There's absolutely no scandal on him. As much as I do not like Rima,he was faithful to her all his life.

Alan was a really great actor, is obvious that he remembered well al the movies he appeared on, and with some nostalgic feeling. He took very seriously his job as an actor en he enjoyed it as much as he could. And the way he tells his anecdotes and at the same time being funny make him look so perfect.
