On the whole these accompaniment styles of the Yamaha EZ-20 sound ok to me, easy enough to live with, a step above the PSR-47 accompaniment styles also recently reviewed. There being about a ten year difference in release date giving a noticeable increase in sound quality and fuller composition. What I find is off-putting is the EZ-20 only has 16 note polyphony, low by todays standards, not all that great in 2000 either, and it does not seem to have any separate buttons to mute sections of the Accompaniment, the drums, bass rhythm, orchestra, chord etc. Yet the older PSR-47 can. The Yamaha EZ-200 a later 2007 model goes for £70 used, maybe the EZ-20 if found can be picked up for a tad under £50. Not too bad for that price, decent enough even these days.

The only drawback of this model is the clunky User Interface.

What i know about this keyboard: It's the successor of the PSR-E303 It's like the PSR-E213, but more expensive It's the predecessor of the PSR-E323. Overall: this keyboard & the keyboards i mentioned are recommended keyboards for beginners.

I really love that Yamaha keyboards have such a signature sound. This doesn't sound realistic in the slightest, yet the sounds all have a certain charm and are very useable!
