Do you have any videos of a 205 or 185 Competitor with a kicker and Talon installed? I would like to see how you plug the holes for the boarding ladder. Does Alumacraft provide special plugs or do you just fill the holes with a compound? Lastly, does the boarding ladder leave any marks (indentations or scratches) on the outside of the transom?

How did you install the Talon? Did you end up removing the boarding ladder? If not, was the boarding ladder still functional with the Talon installed?

Is the Competitor 165 100% wood free construction?

I believe the 205 has smaller cockpit than 185… because you cannot run the rear jump seat platform down with 4 pedals in place on the 205 but the 185 you can.

The 205 competitor has abit of a bigger bow then the 185 an 2 xtra seat pedalstals that’s the only difference between the two boats there both 8’feet wide…my self I’m looking At purchasing either the 185 or the 205 there’s really be no sense of tossing out a bunch of more money for two xtra seats an a bigger bow 185 is 18.5 an the 205 is 20.5 foot…either way whatever boat I get it’s going to have a 115 Yamaha four stroke

From the website they have a base price for the boat like you see, then you built your boat. So depends on what you want to add, just depends how thick your wallet is.
