simulator games are defenitley the best cause theres new worlds and alot of grinding included. the longer someone spends in your game the more money you get. if you make a normal game then people will just beat it and never come back.

Well in my toolbox days i had made a simple not that good horror game and i thought it was really nice but then something happened and all my progress was gone. I quit studio for a few months and im on track better then ever. I got into doing commissions and its really nice for some early robux!

for people that are wondering how you can start developing or just hear my story about developing; ive been scripting for more than 6 years, it all started as curiosity, i was always just a normal roblox player, then i just started wondering how to make one, i found out guides on google, then started looking at basic youtube tutorials, most of my learning was from youtube videos, but it took me a long time to start making scripts without looking at tutorials, i had to like memorize and also use the roblox devhub scripting docs to look up stuff i forgot or didnt know what it was for, after that i found out about the devforum, there u can ask people how to do certain stuff and they will tell u ways to do it, THEY WILL NOT MAKE IT FOR YOU, they can also help u fixing script errors or bugs, u can also showcase ur creations and people will tell u whats wrong and whats cool, tbh i never did development professionally till a friend of mine hit me up to work in an academy game, thats the moment i found out u can make big money from just a hobby, scripting, as at that moment, scripting become my main hobby, i spent a lot of days learning and just making random stuff, and also making small personal projects to just learn more and practice more, simulator, pvp games, etc. the thing that got me professionally into projects and stuff, was all contacts. literally all contacts, that same academy project i was in, turned out to be the top 1 academy roleplay game at that moment (it still is, but only game quality wise, not as many active players as before), in that project i met many people as graphic designers, more programmers, builders and also people that own more projects, i became friends w almost everyone, when the project was done i was making atleast 5k robux a day (i owned a %), take in note that this is the first project that i worked for, 5k robux a day was already very surprising for me, after this project, i just did more personal projects and learned more, i also got hired for more projects and games that are very good but never came out to the public, so im just gonna skip that phase, 1 year later, i stumbled upon a hood roleplay game, turns out 2 weeks later the ownership got passed to a friend that i met on that academy project, that same day i was VCing with someone that had him on his friendlist, we were playing a game and he joined randomly (btw we were also talking about his game on VC before he joined randomly), turns out he joins and he needs an scripter, so my other friend couldnt do it as hes one of the best scripters in the roblox clanning community and hes busy 24/7, so he reached out to me and asked me to help, this game had 1.3k average active players, sadly this project had a bad ending and the main owner scammed all of us, but we still had the community in our hands so we just made another project and now our game at launch averaged 900 for 2 weeks, then got down to 250-300, we also released a subgame which has 300 active as of rn, what im trying to tell u guys here is that; start development as a hobby, if u do it for the money ur gonna be burnt out in 1 month, in my case, the contacts is the reason why i have money nowadays as a teenager, remember u are not any developer that went viral on their first game release, thats being lucky asf, so dont make that ur mindset, do it for the love of making games, and randomly, u may start getting players, if u wanna make ur own game viral and be your own boss then u will have to learn a lot about doing tiktok vids and YT shorts, also do devlogs youtube videos working on your game, they have been going on the youtube fyp most of the time. when i met my friend that initially got me into the academy project and also the chance to work on the hood game, we werent developers, we were just normal players, actually we were enemies back then cuz we used to play a closed community game, but yeah time went by and we just became chill and started becoming friends slowly, i worked for remake of games, a lot of state games that didnt go out to the public, that also got me a lot of reputation and people commissioning me sometimes, moving on to another huge W that i had in the past, a builder of the academy game got me into a project that was friendly gambling, no robux involved, it never came out but i met more people in that project, due to that now i also got an investor as one of my contacts, its all related to contacts, that investor got me in more projects and paid me to script for it, when u start getting known, more game owners will reach out to you, if u look at my friendlist i got some of them, but i mostly got them all on my discord added lol, im not trying to brag with any of this btw, im just tryna open u guys eyes because most people r here for the money, do it first as a hobby then u will slowly reach the money goal, btw when u do make money from a game, u should re-invest it paying content creators or roblox ads, it will help a lot trust, to find game ideas, just think about what u would get addicted to, what old games u used to play, most of roblox games if u rly think about it, are old game ideas that were remade to today standards and thats the reason they are hella viral nowadays, btw now i do make hella robux daily not only 5k, its all about learning, waiting, and making, and getting successful games
