Thanks so much! We really tried to do justice to Mallory's talk. Seeing her pictures of the different trends was very helpful so I hope that showing and talking about our take on the fragrance trends was helpful! My nails were my daughter's Mother's Day gift to me! Took her 5 hours! 5 hours that I get to be with just her!

It was really good to see the entire expanse of the NCA at work. And while the NCA can only do so much it really is up to many of us in our field to also uphold these standards. It really is to the point that if we as an industry can't get a hold on some of the issues it will be taken out of our hands with rules and regulations as we have seen in the EU. Which then mean more fees and paperwork, sigh.

This is very informative, thanks for sharing! I love your pipes and patches scent. You are spot on regarding the strawberry and rhubarb scent. You can smell the freshness of the fruit when it is burning in a candle.

Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Saturdays in 1/2 hr blocks from 11:30 to 5:00. If you are coming to pick up an order and there is not already an appointment scheduled at that time, we very likely can accommodate you. You can place an order then, and staff will pick and pack it so you can take it with you. Or, feel free to mull over what you have just seen and smelled and place the order later.

Is the dye mixed with with something?

The dye is just melted in some of the wax that we are using. It isthe scented wax mixture that we were using from the base. Generally 1oz of steak to 7oz of base. That way the jar doesn't overflow.

It's beautiful!! I have an Etsy shop of layered pillar candles and I felt that when you said "It's 10 and I still have work to do" .. I'm usually up until 2am working 😭 Candle making is so time consuming and tedious. I am SO envious of your mold collection, holy moly. Came here because I was interested in making marbled candles like this and change up some of my inventory and keep some things on hand because I absolutely cannot keep up anymore

What was the wax temp when you added the fragrance?

Hi Lee, All of our scents are tested to be added at about 180 - 190F. HTH :)
