Jerry only’s project 1950s cannot compare to anything Micheal did with the misfits. I think Micheal was bigger than he realized but everyone around had noticed how great he was and they wanted someone regular to take the si Hera place while Jerry and Doyle took the spotlight cause they were original members. Micheal Wrote music and took them to a different place than Danzig did with the misfits. Micheal was the Misfits from 1995-2001.

1.Jerry stated when Glenn was still in the band that he wished they would kick Danzig out..he ALWAYS wanted to be the top dog. 2. Michale was left at the border with no passport. He didnt just "not show up". 3. You didnt do shit. Romero swapped the video for the band being in Bruiser. 4. You are the one brother with no talent. 5. Michale didnt show up? Where's Jerry? I forget where it was but the misfits were supposed to do a signing at a record store back in the day and only Jerry (wocka wocka) showed up. After a show at Birch Hill, again, only Jerry stayed after the set to sign stuff. Seems like pretty much none of them got along at that time.

Myke is great at what he does, and he was a great frontman, but he wasn't a right fit for either incarnation of the Misfits. Just completely different vibes. Especially with the more metal sound they were going for.

bro same kind of fuck shit. i was like eleven and graves had just left like maybe a few months before but being a kid (as well as the internet not being as informative as it is. holy fuck i’m old) i hadn’t known and they were playing at the sanctuary. i was so fucking stoked! then jerry walked out. i was like wtf? i asked him about graves and he said vaporized by martian’s or something. seeing me sad i guess he felt kinda bad so he was like “hey, kid, want a danzig original legacy of brutality patch” it was the skeleton one, you know, i was like “fuck yeah!” he was like “20 bucks and it’s yours.” i bought it he signed it i was outside waiting for the bus, looked at the date “1998” i was like fuuuuuckk. sorry for the novel btw.

I think it's funny listening to anti-authority artists talking about the great lengths they go to in order to fit a look most of them use words like 'cool' to describe. It has a way of devaluing the sincerity of whatever messages these bands are attempting to convey and it reinforces the stranglehold corporate entities exercise over artists by only promoting bands that fit a narrative of maximizing sales by means other than by letting the music itself be the driving force of demand allowing works of increased artistic worth to be the prevailing medium of music rather than material written FOR people signed to labels in order to be a sex symbol first, an entertainer second and if there's anything left maybe a musician third.

This is a great example of a horrible documentary... start by talking about metal, then 15 minutes on the Misfits, then interview every last member of a band no one has ever heard of.... this footage should have been deleted.
