Man I’m not sure why, but I started to cry a little during Open Your Eyes. I think it’s the sense of the passage of time, but not in a bad way. It’s like I suddenly felt an appreciation for all the beauty the years have brought. I don’t know, but I’m so grateful to this band, and I’m so proud of them and all they’ve done. What a beautiful life.

Was this the gig on 17 September (not October) 2004? When Switchfoot opened for Alter Bridge?

I wonder what it was like to be this new Alter Bridge band? Did most fans treat them as Creed + some new singer? Or, perhaps, not. Tell me, please. Btw, I hope one day they will play a special show as Creed and Alter Bridge together, featuring both Scott and Myles, hopefully even on the same stage singing together.

At first, in the United States, they were not very well received by the live audience because they expected something similar to Creed, for that reason, Alter Bridge's tours were in Europe and it is on that continent where they have consolidated themselves. Now, when they tour in the United States, they play in clubs or not so big places, but in Europe they play in Wembley Arena, theaters or places with 10 thousand people.

My first AB concert was a festival in the U.S. in 2005 where they played 5-6 songs. "Find The Real" was their only radio/satellite hit at that time, so they weren't well-received. Not sure about others, but yes, I viewed them at that time as Creed with a new singer. I had no clue if they would be able to make it or not. Incredible how far they have come since their first tour. As for Scott and Myles on the same stage, I vote an emphatic no. There's a reason Creed, at the top of their game, broke up. There's also, in stark contrast, a reason AB has remained together for 20 years. As Myles answered how they have done so, "We don't have loose cannons in the band." Dave and Sammy on the same stage during a Van Halen tour did not go well. Sammy said he would never do it again. Would you want your wife and ex-wife cooking together at Thanksgiving? Yeah that would go over well.

haha yeah you can tell he didn't hold anything back, or have so much control back then. Imagine the power/voice he has in the early days with the singing ability he has today, shit would be amazing

My man Myles was a completely different person back in the day, damn, he gave it all and you can clearly see that he was way more nervous in his first shows. Thx for uploading this great concert.
