Hello mate, I know this video is quite old but I thinking about buying the same wheel as you. Did they give you the hardware to screw the steering wheel on the hub ?

Sorry to bother you, I need to know what screw Is needed to hold the bonnet latch to the car. I mean the 2 bolts you took out. One of mine somehow went missing and I wanted to replace my bonnet lock. My friend told me it’s a 10mm

Looked at my bonnet stand stay and it clips in. Think yours are missing a few millimeters or worn out? Or you can go fancy and install gas struts for a future post maybe

Thanks for watching, I believe Ford recommend every 125,000 miles or 10 years on the Mk2, which ever is sooner. But it's all subjective really, mine was done 4 years ago. Let me know when you get yours 😁

Hi Paul, went to install the LED fog units today, I bought a Ford Torx bits and socket set online and which one isn't included....yes T25, not happy. So have ordered a set of Torx screwdrivers T25 included so will attempt it next weekend..... hopefully 🤞

Old knobs/big shaft/lotions made me laugh. Or is my mind in the gutter ? On another note ...The shift kit is great especially if the linkage is mounted high. Its like changing gears on a motor cycle as they have a very short shift. Btw The ST (XR5) in Australia does not have the 12v outlet (lighter) in the panel like your car Paul. Thats a good way to have it. We have it (unlucky) only one located under the arm rest between the seats . That means whatever is plugged in the cord gets damaged from the arm rest . Or are you super lucky to have both ? Cheers

Just looked at mine, drivers side is bad, passenger side is alright, I guess they go on drivers side because of the use, constant movement etc? Anyway thanks for the heads up and guide, I'll do mine when I'm next off work :D

Sadly the footage never made the video, but I had to remove it by going in through the lower grill, it wasn't easy.

@@PaulinhoThompson Thanks for replying. I managed to remove it by going in from underneath, snapping the bottom of the Scrivets off and then using a hole punch to push them through, then yeeting the grille out with muscle power. Got it sorted out

No the small opening goes underneath and the large squarish hole goes on the top, just like in the video. This is a perfect example how they are fitted 100%
