I definitely prefer a cleaner layout. I love the two views. I’d use the vertical for the current year and the horizontal for the upcoming year. The other way I could see using them is the vertical for the current month and the horizontal for the rest of the year for preplanning and keeping my planner less bulky.

Did I miss what inserts these are?

Over the years, I used the Erin Condren spiral bound planners and the A5 Ring Agenda. I liked the agenda much better, so I could add & remove pages. I bought several colors and a couple patterns. Those got too heavy for me due to arthritis and ligaments gone in wrists, so I switched to the on-the-go folios, made my own one-month calendar inserts and used 12 folios - one per month. Made them much lighter than the whole journal inserts. Also put the perpetual calendar in them and made other inserts as well like meal planning, expenses, etc. Then I found Kell-of-a-plan videos and was hooked on Heather Kell's disc planners and sticker books. She only does classic size, which is ok, but I may have to switch to the Happy Planner mini size later due to weight. Her products are sized like Classic Happy Planners, so a lot of things are interchangeable. I like the discs better than the rings only because the rings were hard for me to open & close. Your new planner is beautiful and if I were using the rings, I would definitely try one.

I have the same agenda inserts & pen! lol planner twins 😊 I have been using friction pens since 2014 and I can oh believe I just found out they have a 0.38!

Really like the Frixion pens! You turned me on to the Laurel Denise planners (which are awesome), and the Frixion 0.38 pens are the best for writing in their mini planners. Now I'm going to look for the fancier Frixion pen cases. They are definitely classy looking! 😁 xo

I keep my EC inserts in a filofax Malden planner 😊
