One thing I see too many wealthy people do, is they'll buy furniture pieces to fill out every square foot of their home. So a large expensive house ends up looking like a storage room. Yes, furnish your home with fancy pieces. But also maintain a minimal look to maximize your walking space.

in my opinion as a classic English country house owner, i think this house is an architectural mess, ugly, vulgar, disjointed and possibly a maintenance nightmare.

You are absolutely right. Wiring and plumbing need's to be visible. No future headache's. I am designing my home similar in that aspect.

It's unfortunate that the "small outdoor pocket space" faces directly towards the neighbor's house. I wonder if the current owner still uses that area for relaxing and chilling, considering it doesn't offer much privacy for reading outside, despite the water fountain providing a nice ambiance. I hope the owner can leave a comment here.

Definitely needs to have the interior designer/furnishing included, otherwise you may create a space but the owners would not have known what / where to buy furniure to give it that end results. Excellent work and content to watch. Thank you.

"I did not want people think it was special on the outside" This is so me. I thought it was too selfish, so I tried not to entertain this in my head before. Now I'm sure I want to build a house like this and make the facade more neutral or not noticeable.
