My alarm never worked since i bought car when i lock on key fob light just light up. No sound so i guess buy this siren 2004 e320 4matic anything else ypu think? What fuse? What relay? Should i check first?

Looking forward to Part 2. I upgraded my Sea Ray's electronics from Raymarine to Garmin. We kept the Raymarine autopilot but I can't get it to follow a course. It will follow just going direct to a waypoint but will not follow say Auto Routing.

For Garmin auto route to work it must be garmin to garmin.Your raymarine will follow a manually created course if networked in either 0183 or N2K

Yes, you can pull the fuse to stop the battery drain.

WJ, so do you run the flush when you’re back at the marina and the boat isn’t running? And is the water simply pushed upward into the risers from the manifolds to exit out the exhaust system? Great video and concept! Thank you!!

That's correct. With the engine not running, the raw water pump is acting like a "block" and the water being pushed into the bottom of the manifold has no choice but to go up the riser, into the elbow, and spill over into the exhaust piping, then out of the boat.

This vid save my ass. Haines said to pull the fan shroud, it is hydraulic. It took longer to pull the upper mounting bolts than to remove the alternator.

@@WJsLifeonaBoat I watched a bunch of videos on how to do it, and I wish I would've just watched this. The only tip you're missing is keeping track of the water pump bolt lengths. The two top left bolts should be the long ones.

They have also bi-directional water pumps this is just stuff for your viewers that's all so don't use automotive water pump because you're going to end up with the wrong one on one of your engines

The oil journals are 180° off also the opposite rotation if the On crankshaft end towards the oil pump the crankshaft has been knurled to push the oil forward not so many people know that one just figure a little food for thought 🤔

Passenger power seat wasn't reliable and high idle current draw. I cleaned corrosion off the module circuit board and re-installed. This fixed my problem. Scrub the board with alcohol and a toothbrush.

3 questions, I thought we had to use a specific fluid from Mopar not the atf+4? Second I have a 99 limited wj with4.7, I think I have a 247 t.c, what's your opinion on swapping out the fulltime 4wd t.c for a Laredo 2wd, p.t 4wheel, and fulltime 4? 242?

Only a 242HD from a V8 will directly swap to a 247 with a V8... You also need to get a matching driveshaft from the donor vehicle. Then it will be "bolt in"

My boat previously had 4 blade propellers on it and would not turn the proper rpm. Make sure a propeller and load calculation is performed based on the boat, engine hp, rpm and transmission ratio. Etc.

The overload light is just that, an overload on the generator. It can only power so many things at once. But it should easily power a grinder...

You should have done a better job cleaning the helm during the rebuild process. You can see several pieces of debris around the 12:19 mark. Debris/trash can be very problematic in an unfiltered hydraulic system. Why go through the rebuild process without taking these precautions

So no thermostat was going to work... There was not a bypass installed on the engine from the manufacture. This was the only fix.
