I'm not a gregarious person, as I tend to be more of an observer and listener. I do like gregarious people, however, and I think that I learn a lot with them.

I want to thank you, Lindsay and Michelle, for honoring my request. Your video is exactly what I wanted to see, but more. You went beyond my expectations and provided an excellent analysis of my favorite word, "Ouch!' I thoroughly enjoyed your exploration, and I am glad you enjoyed the topic and had fun with it. Both of you, in fact, your entire staff is wonderful and very professional. I will treasure this. Thank you, again.

could you dive deeper with phrase "skip the pumping up the tires". this phrase was mentioned in this episode. Just wondering, it is something common in speech like that or something else

Interestingly, the AE version is nearer to the French pronunciation! Maybe it was a subtle 'criticism' of the English adaptation of words?!

OMG, there's nothing more fun than hearing someone saying the phrase you learned 2 days ago. I learned "bottle up" in Inside Out 2 (which came out about 10 days ago) and here 5:23 Lindsay said it too :)

Thanks for sharing the stuff) suppose, there usn't a huge difference in meaning and usage between these words! We can use them almost interchangeably, right?
@AllEarsEnglishPodcast5 күн бұрын
Yes, it can be interchangeable but you have to consider the nuance of using it. 'Maybe' is very appropriate for more informal contexts and 'perhaps' is used in more formal situations. I hope that helps.
