Brody did such a good job and absolutely stole every scene he was in. I was really sad we didnt get to see more of this.

Do yourself a favor and read the book by Jeff pearlman. This show was entertaining but relied heavily on dramatization of events/characters when they really didn’t need to.

They should have casted a better looking guy than Adrian Brody for Pat Riley. I am amazed these actors have not sued this show which has portrayed them in an extremely unflattering way.

Can't wait for next week's episode. Looks like next episode will finally be about Pat taking over Paul. We're finally going to see Adrien play "Godfather Pat Riley".

nice name call! 3 Webster upper tier adjectives and a noun always stings and has optimal dramatic effect! Ain't nobody that can recover from such a perfect formula of name calling!

Pat looked much better than in the show. He had style.

He is Villain own in the eyes of jack Mckinney. jack mckinney is stuborn to realize that not well enough to coach the lakers after his biking accident . Pat and Paul are trying to help him run the lakers for the meantime while he away so he can recover more

Great coach ...but thought he was omnipotent by the 88 - 89 season .He even tried to patent the phrase threepeet .The players had had enough of him by the end of his tenure. He drove them into the ground basically.

@@nicknovic3828Also the Lakers did not properly prepare for Kareem's retirement. Did not have a successor in the pivot, which was more critical 35 years ago than it is today. Waited until after the sweep by the Pistons to draft Divac.

"Shanty Irish"? Does that make McKinney "Lace curtain Irish?" While I can believe that the real McKinney was pissed off at Riley, that's not a slur I'd expect from another Irish-American.

The show portrays Pat Riley a villain, Paul Westhead a loser, and Jerry West an alcoholic. Writers of this show probably never even watched a basketball game let alone the Showtime Lakers
@gfoot99162 жыл бұрын
Riley isn’t even a villain. Everybody in the story is an anti-hero. Westhead isn’t a loser, just inexperienced. And as for Jerry West, he’s probably the most relatable male character in the show.
