As much as there's lots of hype about self hating Jews in USA, there's an abundance of self ignorant Chinese in USA too, as evidenced in Mr. Huang. I trust he wasn't there in HK during the recent failed color revolution, nor was he in China during the three year struggle against COVID. A Ph.D. doesn't make him wiser, learned maybe, wise ... far from it

I agree wholeheartedly with Kishore Mahbubani. China's economic growth will slow down. But it will likely still grow at a good clip, eclipsing the growth rates of rich, developed countries. 3 to 5% real growth rates of what is now a much larger economy is still rather impressive and will continue to pose the challenges associated with fast growth rates. The questions to focus on are several: Will China's per capita real income continue to steadily grow and will China continue to pull millions of citizens out of poverty? Will China's ability to innovate, as appears to be already the case, become more diversified across the economy? If the answers to these two questions are yes, then most likely China's national security will continue to advance significantly and be perceived by many constituencies and special interests in the USA as an important threat.

Finance industry and centrally organized political economy are is existential crisis. When Airbus competed with Boeing, it could not make profit due to lower prices. Chinese planes will disintegrate that bi-modal global hegemony. Same with internet, AI, bullet trains, GPS, smart phones, space program, drines, missiles, navy, EVs snd increasingly software OS and chips.

The greatest gift China has given to human civilization is the total defeat of western societies. A new sun is rising from the East and an ignominious end is nearing on the western shores. Grab your popcorns, sit, relax and enjoy the show.

Moonlighting is a distraction in the choice of word and the implicit polarisation it evokes and PREJUDGES the very issue of new work models a priori !! In hind sight - is it possible that the assumption that organisations pay for a number of hours is a sense picked on by some sections but really has more than just a "Dehaadi" labour payment at the "elite" knowledge workers level ? The operating assumption of organisations was and is perhaps, of a Whole time employment? the construct of the employment contracts was a , perhaps , paternalistic approach to saying " the compact of employment" has some elements of pain for benefits like Learning investments, Leave ( earned leave, maternity/ paternity, medical etc) Insurance of various kinds, Deferred benefits like gratuity, pensions, PF ( statutory and beyond ) among other such like wellbeing etc concerns. The options for independent consultants to do the "legitimised" version of employment have existed for a long time but it mortise the value to the employee into a cash on the barrel deals. Right or wrong is not the primary issue, as much as exploration of new ways of reconciling the various perspectives of WHAT DOES GOOD WORK and FAIR PAY / C&B mean to various players ?

-India as a society uses shame and fear to train kids which limits them reaching their full potential -Indian market is slightly different from western markets. There time is more imp than money but here money is more imp than time 14:15 - 14:48 good point 15:50 - 16:47 to see "how to create word of mouth" -An act of review is demonstrating mistrust -*My interpretation* Human efficiency increases if they recieve the credit of each and every task they perform. 18:51 🥺🤞 -Trust is the biggest moat 29:13 - 30:05 "People rarely betray trust, only when you show them doubt it all starts" -Entry of big boys in the game should not scare you, it just validates your business model. 38:19 - 40:45 interesting, give it a shot -Study on human behavior

Insightful discussion. I agree with Sundeep’s views and any form of hypernationalism is detrimental for the country’s progress. Ukraine made its mistakes by not accepting neutrality or even a firm stand to not join NATO. This futile war would have been averted if Ukraine denied NATO membership, while at the same time, could have joined EU for economic reasons only. But as that time is gone now, it’s a lot more complicated and all we can hope is that this war doesn’t escalate to other parts of the world, especially the vulnerable conflicts such as Taiwan-China, or even N.Korea or Iran.

It is unfortunate to know Sridhar Vembu is given only Padma Shri where coller water seller Indira Nuie is given Padma vibushan and she did nothing known to improve economy of India except polluted water by her color drink what an unfortunate country. Least in future get people vote and provide such awards.

I‘d like to add that not every type of invasion is the same. Russia invades to occupy and dismember sovereign states. America invaded Iraq and Afghanistan but they didn’t meant to stay forever. And they also didn’t flatten whole cities. Are Aleppo and Groszny forgotten already.

Dear Mr. Gupta, This is the first time that I have been on a Masterclass. I would like to thank you and your guests on a really beneficial discussion from world-wide experts. I have learned a lot, and I appreciate the perspectives put forward by each of your guests. The different subjects covered by your four respected guests have not only added knowledge, but also made me think about Reverse Urbanization, the Material Growth vs Growth, the paradox in Geopolitical and Geo-environmental aspects as mentioned by one of your guests. I look forward to get back and obtain the summary of such rich discussion. Kind regards Hisham Jaafari

As for UAE, they are good for say next 50 years, but once the leadership changes. What if the son is not so liberal? But certainly KSA and UAE are on my good lists. For investing in AI, maybe we focus on medical field, to have better patient to doctor ratio. AI and other technologies tend to replace primary labor. But we need to employ people here as they are not upskilled enough as of now.

Let us keep Pakistan and ISI aside for now, I they will only be a pain and nothing more to India. As for our political stands, I think we need to really re-think the American friendship, they seem to be politically unstable, and not favorable to India (historically), furthermore we could reap more benefits from Russia and USA at the same time. Our Delhi Regional Security Dialogue Russia attended, but what about US? US, Russia, China is going to attend the Pak held meeting soon. America needs to be re assessed. Also for Space it is a serious issue we dont have funds nor the technology as of now....Need to work on it. Cannot trade oil with Iran, America literally forced all our plans in Afghanistan out! We are paying a pretty handsome cost for American friendship.
