Great arrangement. And, given the catalogue of the Doors, don't think it so crazy to have this Robby Krieger song as a waltz. The Doors were into experimenting, and feel they would have loved high quality covers like this. Moreover, really like how each word is really clearly heard, and gets the lyrics out in front with the music, like the words that Morrison added ("Try to set the night on fire")...

A little teen 80s camping looks good. Arrangement kills it too.

Nice to hear it without all the reverb in the vocals. Up tempo changes the song from being a dirge, too.

Great voice.... I'll bet you could make a great cover of an actual Buddy Holly song.

This cover has given me vision into a different meaning to the song. I cant help but see it as a metaphor for insomnia, not for the fact sleep is mentioned but where my mental space is at as I try to sleep as I have no real control over myself and my thoughts. Lame interpretation I know but try listening to it and not connect every word to the lack of control and frustration when trying to rest

It's good and all in it's own right, but IMHO it loses the essence of what Cream songs were.... that dusty, hazy, drink and drug fuelled, raw musical experience. This just feels a bit too...bouncy and modern and polished...sort of Cream remade by Marvel Comics.
