Thank you very much. Tell me a video where you show the “Triangle Technique”.

FYI-The jelly pens are not archival, you could end up with yellowed highlights all over your drawings in a year or so. You don’t want that to happen if it was a commission piece.

Ive got a drawing i did at age 11 . Cheap coloured pencils & cheap paper , its framed in my mums bedroom - like the day i drew it. I think lightfastness - archival can be a gimmick ££££ . If you dont have the pic framed & in the sun FOR YEARS ‘ I think it will be fine

Thanks for the advice. I noticed that the hardest part for me is to come up with the price and especially to announce it to the potential cuatomer.

I feel this formy own work right now... I am actually under charging if we are going by minimum wage - £10 x by 13 hours it took me to do a drawing should be charging £130 for it, but people won't even buy it at the £100 I have them up (new price to what I had them at) which was £50 and even then I wasn't getting many sells, and someone told me recently that I was over charging for them now, and should put them down to £60 which I did that my drawing per hour would only be £4

Hi thank you so much for this video. I'm an aged (72 years old) lady and I draw very amateurishly but was about to draw some whiskers on a cat drawing when I found your tutorial. Pens ordered, wish me luck x

I just wanted to comment and say you have beautiful work. I have been blessed to live off my artwork for the past 30 years. And I still learn something from you today. So thank you and I've never been able to get my color pencil pieces so vibrant and blended so smoothly I must try the blending solvent is it important to be using the pastel paper you're talking about with this technique? Thank you for sharing your work and your knowledge we all help each other grow.

Hi Grace, I am a VERY early beginner in graphite. I want so bad to learn to draw pets and people. I thought I would start with my husbands GSP. I have searched and searched for a drawing tutorial on a GSP. I finally stumbled on your channel while watching another artist. When I saw the picture of this dog I almost screamed in delight 😊. The fur on a GSP is so different than other dogs because the hair is so short and all the spots. I have practiced the fur in so many different ways but it just didn’t look right. You explained the stroke so well and how to get the white in as well as their dark spots. I can’t wait to try it. I would love it if you could do another one that shows more of the body. I want to do a drawing for my daughter who now has my Piper Jo. I moved after my husband passed and didn’t have anywhere for her to burn off all of her energy. She is a BEAUTIFUL dog. I want so bad to do her justice. I hope to see many more of your tutorials in the future. Your work is AMAZING!!!! This dog is just as beautiful 😍

Absolutely beautiful, thank you. Learned a lot. A bit confused when doing the different strokes and which exact tool. Perhaps they’re in your specific tutorials. Can’t wait to try.

Wow ! Great video and fantastic art work! I see you have a piece of plastic under your hand as your drawing. That must help with all the smudging that occurs. Is it like a piece of plexiglass ?

Just had a customer ask for a pet portrait in pencil. I mostly work in oils or pastel pencils, in colour. I thought..hmm...could be challenging so found your video to give me an idea on how to proceed and what to focus on...just bought some mechanical pencils...never used them before. So I'm learning soemthing new. Thanks very much and you are very talented...and patient, a lot of work and detail.

You need to clean the blades......1 a month is insane. Use a toothpick
@gracemurrayart5 ай бұрын
Not when you draw with pastel pencils as much as I do, they blunt the blades very quickly.
