If you are doing the wiring far from your battery ground, is it possible to just tie the two ground wires together? Or do they need to be separate grounds for the fuses to work properly?

So im a tad confused. Maybe dumb. But I have 2 12V constants. 1 ground And im guessing one trigger by the ignition How do i know if the trigger is actually working as it should?

What did you do to fix that? I’m having a similar issue if I check my ohms with a multi meter I’m getting 10 at the tank but can’t get it to read right at the dash I have the ohms in the configuration set up right I think I’m having a ground issue but not sure. I’ve hooked up the right input on the dash and connected the ground straight to the battery and it’ll read 0 and when I pull the ground off it reads 100

I'm guessing that's the Easy Off with lye (sodium hydroxide). It attacks aluminum. There's a blue cap version without lye.

Anodized aluminum is dull gray, that’s brass clad at best, painted at worst and brake cleaner being acetone propelled by CO2 would’ve done the trick for actual anodized aluminum as acid etching, specifically acetone etching is the prep work for removing anodized layer on aluminum for welding, brazing, electrical connections and other operations. Good paint stripper though

These are anodized, I am close friends with a few from the company that produce them. If you check the link, you can get them in many different colors. My first method was brake clean and a scotch brite pad which did little to nothing for removing the anodized finish. motionraceworks.com/collections/shifter-grips

Anodizing is to prevent corrosion and oxidation.

Anodizing is oxidation, and unless your aluminum is in a crazy high corrosion environment, then it's not going to do much for material life.

I have been struggling with my idle for a bit. Never occurred to me they had different connectors. Was running a ls throttle body with the chrysler pinout. This fixed my issue. Thank you!
