can you rerecord the video with an expert? I really hate these display chicks with no sense of technics. How the hell you let her turn on the wipers without spraying liquid on the windshield?! U wanna the rare piece of glass scratched?? She turns on the radio: does not work. She shows the ashtray - wait a minute.. isnt it some air hole??

Horrible presentation by person who actually knows nothing about electric bikes that’s why you won’t sell many of them, and then are not even in the top 30 electric bikes

Moving sculpture, but these Dauphine's are delicate machines. 35 years ago one was parked in Alexandria, Virginia, and it looked like a flaky pastry made of rust all around the bottom of the car.

How the hell does anybody ride with the bars up so high?? 8 mph?? Those are NOT drum brakes. ONLY Sturmey Archer has them, which have ZERO drag and need near ZERO service. My front SA XL-FDD dyno drum has 32,000 miles and still works like new. Shimano makes those BOAT ANCHOR Roller brakes. They are greased like coaster brakes. They DRAG and create heat like hell with the slightest use. Their the WORST POS ever put on a bicycle. FACT. All 3 of my bikes are heavy IGH roadster/ tour style. The Rohloff14 one was 120 lbs on 2 tours. LOL. Even at 80 lbs I have done 130 mile rides. My fave bike has a SA XL-RD5w. These brakes are 100% the BEST ever made. >> Anyway, Pashley and Dutch bikes were a big fad 15 years ago. Partly because the Canadian $ was way high. Linus has lost their mojo and joined the E crap fad. People are lazy buggers afterall .....

The presenter’s narrative is pathetic. 1. She mismpronounces the name of the car. 2. It’s not a chrome “pinstripe”. It’s a chrome waist strip, the pinstripe, correctly referred to as a coach line, is paint underneath. 3. The wood is not rosewood. It’s buried walnut. 4. It’s not known as “the dove-tailed sedan”. 5. The cup holders are not original. Incredibly obtuse.

I owned 4 of these from 1971 right thru the late 90's. Only 26HP and 360cc of throbbing air cooled 2-stroke Subaru power but one of the most fun cars you can ever imagine....if you're not in a big hurry to get somewhere. I still have some new dealer brochures for these rascals. Anybody need a brochure???

She should have shown how the jack handle can be used to hand crank the engine. I'm pretty sure these were the last cars produced that could be started by hand. (Neat party trick) More than once I carried a full keg in the Frunk, try that with a Tesla, So many times girls would say "that's the cutest car ever can I have it?" it got 50 MPG, driven gently, or you could drag it down to about 35 if you drove like Mario Andretti. It only held 8 gallons. I had one that was in top shape and level running on the highway with patience and with the wind, went 80, which in retrospect was crazy. With oversized Michelin ZXAS 145/15 radials, she handled like a 4 wheel motorcycle, but even in rally tune she only ever broke traction on ice. The last of 3 really good ones I sold in 84 a couple of years later I tried putting the life back into a nearly mint 64 electro shift automatic, it turns out the autoshift trany was so inadequate the car was an almost never used really good-looking old car, and the next owner told me he too sold her without doing the needed trans-ectomy. The best one, the 67 the Mongoose was like a living pet car, got killed, and I got ground into Frankensteins monster, in a NASCAR style multi flip wreck in 82 where I was ejected, human belt sanded by the road and was nearly run over by my own car upside down in the ditch by the now looking more like a Triumph TR7. My mistake, too fast, raining very wet, very soft mud shoulder. Oh well, 42 years later that's one that left a sore spot or two and a rare but there (Evel Knievel) flashback. Thank you lord, thank you Jesus, god saw fit to not let that end me and healed me back. I still miss that car from time to time.
