So very sad to see all the extra damage caused by the recovery team in both this case and the recent other ditching, I have so far recovered 20 or so aircraft following accidents and never inflicted any further damage to the machine during my recovery of them.

Sad to see. I've been on that very plane twice and Dave Barrell has been my pilot twice. It was his flying skill that saved himself and the Wing Walker Kirsten Pobjoy. I would gladly get on another Stearman with Dave flying it.
