I am very impressed by this fantastic tutorial. I would like to know what your colour palette looks like, whether you use Old Holland paints, and what brushes you have used.

Hi there, I'm using mostly old holland and in the final layers I use also some winston newton colors. And also I have one Michael harding yellow ochre for the first layer. My brushes are all from rosemary which are very long lasting brushes to my opinion. Succes!

Super mooi weer Marcel! Wat is het snel droog bij jou.. kun je na vier dagen al de retouch varnish aanbrengen!? Of gebruik je liquin in de tweede laag en derde glazing laag?

Dank je wel Astrid :), liquin heeft de eigenschap om snel op te drogen. liquin is vrijwel goed droog na twee dagen, wel is het altijd verstandig om aan te voelen dat de verf (hand) droog is omdat sommige pigmenten langzamer drogen dan andere pigmenten. Ik gebruik inderdaad in de tweede en derde laag alleen maar liquin.

Good question :) thanks for todays mediums that is able to dry over night it mostly takes 3 or two weeks. This means painting every day (except Sunday's) for about +- 6 to 5 hours an on some days even longer. As this ia always a challenge as I want to upload my youtube movie on a regular basis.

The video was a disaster I'm afraid! It was so jerky through being presented as a speed painting that I just couldn't focus on it. Experiencing motion sickness whilst watching a 'veritas' isn't my idea of fun.

Hi there, thank you :) I use rosemary brushes 313 series golden nylon. They are synthetic brushes and they go a long way without being expensive. Art is for the sharing as I believe it can bring inspiration together for all to share :-). cheers :)

@@HattoriHanzoVol1 hi there, they are for testimg/study only. They contain to much fillers which is not for selling. But for painting processing i almost cannot notice the difference. Although there is because of pigment strength.

Hi there, yellow ochre, alizin crimson, cadmium orange, raw umber, all second layer colors from winston newton. Titanium white, ivory black, ultra marine blue, scheveningen green, comboge lake extra, cadmium yellow light 1e and 2e colors from old holland. Succes 👍👍.

Wow wat prachtig geworden!! Ik ben er vorig jaar juli ook eens aan begonnen, tekening staat er helemaal op, maar nooit met schilderen eraan begonnen 😅 mooi om jouw volgorde van schilderen te zien!! (Vooral het mandje 😅) En heb wel zin gekregen om er toch mee verder te gaan! Thanks for sharing!!
