I was using a Logitech 3D Extreme Pro joystick when I recorded this video. It's pretty complicated to fly it only using a keyboard.

And how il2 jets feels compared to strike fighters 2? Just wanna try something new in Jet era aside from SF2 and LO:FC2. Good luck with content, you are one of the few people on KZfaq who still plays old sims. I think they had more "soul", than new ones.

I like Strike Fighters 2 but somehow the Jets on IL-2 feel more like a real "simulation", specially when it comes to take off and landing. You need more skills and practice to do it on IL-2 than on SF2.

installed il 2 1946 after a long time, do not have the newer versions, but il 2 1946 is the best combat flight sim i have ever played ( the others in contention being lock on flaming cliffs 2/ SF2 modded /BOB 2 ) only terrain engine is outdated , esp at higher altitudes could not get the mods working though dewotine 520 from the latest official patch (4.15 ) is amazing !!

The MIG-21 and other planes become available when you install the MOD-1. But when configuring the controls you have to choose the F-16A.

@@FreemanBVB we don´t play DCS because we deveolped this mod for IL-2 46. So, it´s hard to keep newbies well trained and we work toghether as a team. that´s why, we still prefer to fly a simple sim for improving the work as a real squadron.

Hi could you please make a video on how to install Jane's US navy fighters and especially how to run it? I was able to install it but once I run a game the gameplay is extremely fast (not how it should be) and then the game freezes. Not sure if this problem occurs with all Jane's flight simulators.

Black Shark is not present in this installation, were you able to skip it and continue? You have to install the MOD in the same folder the game was installed.

i tried starting lock on 1 after installing the flaming cliffs 1 unofficial mod with compatibility 95 but it then pops up an error as unhandled exeption in starforce copy protection host aplication

El juego se llama Digital Combat Simulator, también conocido como DCS. Lo puede jugar cualquiera que pueda sentarse a aprenderlo a jugar ya que es algo complejo por su nivel de realismo en la simulación.
