To be 100% honest, this is long overdue for you. Growing your own food is always a good idea if you have the room and weather. I really look forward to see where this goes. 👍

Nutn, pick up Mel Bartholomew's book " The New Square Foot Gardening."All the brain work is done, so just follow along. Easiest way to garden ever. You 'll want to set up your vining plants on the ends to climb, not spill over the sides. The shade they cast can be used to assist the plants that grow better in cooler conditions.

I used to love benchmade. I just can’t support them anymore now. It’s too expensive for quality that’s no longer the best… :/

Ive had one or another mini for decades... makes a great backup or even 3rd. My current is a 22 mag Wasp model and it carries great in a Remora mag carrier (like a Sticky holster but Remora was 1st back in the day) i carry it in my sock a lot in that Remora mag holder as a BUG to my Glock. I'd prefer my SW 442 in any confrontation where i needed my BUG... but i feel it's ok. I practice one hand, hip or point shooting at less than 3 yards with my minis.... if i get down to that option, things suck and will be close... but its better than a knife for me too.

42mm case is probably about as big as I would go for me personally. I wear a 41mm Marathon GSAR on my 7" wrist and that is pushing it size while for me.

Love the gardening content. Do chickens next. I started with backyard/urban chickens 4 years ago after going to the store and finding the egg case dead empty. They are great fun and it’s an easier gig than you might think. If you buy chicks, plan on egg production 5-7 months down the road. It’s all about self sufficiency. You will NOT save money. It’s about survival when the stores close.

Nutn, check out Joker knives. They are made in Spain also and I think they are made by the same parent company as JeoTec. They use higher quality steels like 14c28n and K720.

The price of those watches is well, offensive. What makes those watches worth the price? Do they keep time better than a $15 watch? I doubt it.

Two things. New video idea this instead of that (ie pagani) . Second case size is not as important to me as thickness. Thicker the watch the more stuff you bang into.

Love the watch show. Not a big Breitling fan. Just picked up a Doxa Sub 300t recently. They have a killer orange. The Seiko King Turtles are pretty sweet as well with upgrades. Do you like your Islander watch?

I’m actually surprised already that you don’t have a Breitling seeing that you flew in the military? Get ya one, good watch well made.

I’m getting a TAG Heuer Gulf Steve McQueen Monaco…before I die. It’s iconic. Of course you probably don’t know who Steve McQueen is. You’re a “cheap” watch connoisseur which is fine, but there’s a reason some guys want a nice watch. If there wasn’t a market they wouldn’t be making them.

$3-4k is pretty low price point as far a watches go, i dont know if id call it entry level but its the next step up from entry level. You can get a lot of good watches in that range. Breitling, Tudor, Longines, there are a few entry Grand Seikos in that price. Tag just doesn't do it for me. I think they're over priced for what they are. The closer to $1000 is probably their real value, up to $2000+, they're just not worth that much. A great microbrand closer to the $1000 price point is Nivada Grenchen. They have an amazing heritage, US Military heritage and are probably nicer quality than the price point. If there movements were better they could definite command a much higher price.

$300 for a watch, still too much. A tank tough simple Casio is $50'ish & they work. $3400? ROFL pound sand into glass
@Mills14114 күн бұрын
Casio watches that are 250ish are better than the 50 ones and will last a lifetime. Sapphire lenses make the difference
