Guys rui is the only singer member thats why this is the way it is 😅 in japan its common for groups to have members for singing and seperate members for dancing. Thats what this is.

Not necessarily. They had one more song showcased at Anime Expo where the others sang more. They're still trying the waters so we'll have to wait and see, but if it turns out that Rui will be doing most of the singing that's fine too =)

For people who don't get this line distribution, in Jpop it's common to have groups where a person's role in the group is to be a performer/dancer/choreographer and not a vocalist, aka they usually don't have many lines if they even have lines at all. It's very different from Kpop where each member of a group is obligated to have lines, and it's unfair or considered mistreatment or mismanagement if they don't. In this group, Rui is essentially the only vocalist so far. That's why she has the most lines. It's a different system, so please don't apply Kpop rules to Jpop. As a casual fan of both genres, I've experienced members leave my favorite Jpop group because they were originally brought on to be a dancer/choreographer and then they moved towards everyone getting lines, and it was just not something she was comfortable with. So I hope that if you're a casual listener, this helps you understand the differences between the two entertainment industries.

But if they are just Dancers then they dont have any Lines. If they are also Vocalists then this is pretty unfair. Most Jpop Groups have all Members singing and the Distributions usually look more fair then this

@@lunaris7342 The only listed Vocalist is Rui, so naturally, the rest are likely just dancers/performers. While yes, there are Jpop groups where each member has lines, or groups where there's a hard line/no line boundary, that's not every group, and quite obviously doesn't apply here. I think people hyperfocus on lines and perceived "unfairness" too much these days. From the media these women have put out, they don't seem to mind. So why make a situation out of it? 🤔

@@goldyd144 In this specific case I think it's more about the fact that 3 of the members were actually just dancers in their respective groups, right? With the exception of Ruri who was a vocalist in Happiness. This kinda was something they determined, even tho the members who never sang before were taking singing classes to become vocalists as well for sg5/f5ve. I don't know if they're still a Sailor Moon inspired group, but since Lettuce's lines were already distributed like that with Rui as the center, I believe until they release new songs that's all we'll see? idk. It's a fact that there are a lot of jpop groups like that but there still A LOT (if not more) that all the members have lines as well. If a kpop group decided to take that route I believe the fans would be really mad lol
