I'm surprised the Carnegie Museum was closed on a Tuesday. It's a shame you couldn't wander around the church. Near the Font is a pump for water, I was told that Oliver Cromwell took his horses into the church so they could drink from the Font. The cinema is a listed Art Deco building. We looked in the church but there was some sort of event on so didnt disturb them. The museum was closed for planned maintenance, just our luck 🤦🏻♂️💁🏻♀️

St Mary's Church in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire, England has Europe's tallest lead-covered wooden spire. The tower and spire was built by Cluniac monks in the 13th century. The church dates back to 1170, and an earlier church may have been on the site as early as the 9th century. The spire has been identified as a model for Salisbury Cathedral's spire.

Have you been to Melton Mowbray? Market Days Tuesday & Saturday, Tuesday is the main street & cattle market. Home of the real Pork Pie. The beautiful St. Mary's Church. Where the term Painting the Town Red came from.

Its said traditional on the wrapper from the pork pie shop which was undergoing refurbishment at the time. It was delicious thats for sure 👌🏼

The "Atari" is a modified Daihatsu Materia - standard car has 1600cc Toyota Yaris motor and running gear. Funky design competed with the Nissan Cube back in the day.

It's pronounced Wool-a-ton not Wol-a-ton. You need to slow down your camera, moves too quickly to be able to look at anything. And you don't sound that interested in anything you've seen. Shame really as it's great place to visit. And the staff who dress in costume try their hardest to make it an interesting visit. And Wollaton Hall played host to Batman in 2012 in The Dark Knight Rises. When it doubled as Wayne Manor.

We was staying in Salou for the week, Montserrat was a day excursion put on by TUI, We would highly recommend it as got all the back passes and jumped the cues.

Those old Beach huts near the dunes are very interesting,they were built as a sea defense system. The roofs of the huts are old Nissan huts turned upside down,no doubt from WW2 airfields near the area.A nice bit of recycling in the 50s ,when they were built after the great floods. The flats are now private flats ,but we're built for the midland coal miners,I think the old building that was there originally was introduced by Florence Nightingale, but iam not sure.

We stayed in 1 which was ok, 2 was a bit more modern but where you stay isn’t important as you can wonder between them, entertainment was best in hotel 1
