I’m also new to alcohol markers. What worked for me was dark to light application. I find that the blending is better than starting with light colors. Try it too!

I love your artwork it's great! But I feel like the subtitles in the video should have been a different color..white.. while I can see it there are white things in the background that don't make it stand out well.For example, if you use purple(this is a random color) the text would stand out more because nothing is purple in the background and it's a dark enough color.Sorry for the longer comment this might just be a me problem...
