Awesome. And thank you! My father used to talk about this coaster all the time when I was growing up in the 70s/80s and started to ride all the fancy new steel Arrow loopers and Schwartzkopf shuttles. Said nothing beat the Bobs at Riverview. He maintained, even throughout the 90s, that there were no trims at any point in the run. I used to tell him it would rip itself apart without any and he always claimed it nearly did and that's why it had to close. I assume this build is accurate with the two touch trims? Even though Dad has long passed, I finally feel like I got to ride his beloved Riverview Bobs.

I remember Riverview that looks like a recreation of the Fireball Rollercoaster 🎢 One of 5 that was there. I was 11 years old when they closed down

Glad to see a version of the simulation of the ride that has the dragon head in it. I sure hope there is a way that a replica if this ride can be built.

I liked it! It didn't have a lot of "violent" drops or turning you upside down, but still you get a good fast(!) ride. I wish that could be rebuilt today.

The music is all wrong. I remember riding it when i was like 6 or something, i remember it being one of the only rides i could ride at the park, idk if my parents slipped someone a 20 or if it was bc the height requirement wasnt as high as wabash and screaming delta demon and rockin roller coaster but the music was really exciting and loud, lot of base. Very theatrical track
@aerickmccullough350
@aerickmccullough350 Ай бұрын
The music that's in this was the one that the ride started out with from 1989 to 1991. The bones on the beach one wasn't added until during the 1991 season.

I’m not sure what those buttress’s are at that one turn but those never existed on the actual coaster . I doubt you have any control over sound but that sounds nothing like the real one did

Had no idea what a cicada was until I bought a home in Maryland. Then I was informed about one year prior to their arrival they will be popping up in my backyard they come around every 17 years. Definitely an experience it looked like my grass was moving they were everywhere.

So spot on, how did you re-simulate this? Even though it's RIP now, I miss so bad all the lighting effects as shown in this video ; you don't get a lot of great lighting / animatronics on indoor rides anymore; was one of a kind. Thank you for sharing this video.

Mountain Flyer is one of the greatest out & back coasters I've ever ridden. It was an intense ride with ejector airtime on every drop and rise on the outbound trip. The turnaround was completely unique, not like the depiction in this good No Limits re-creation. It was an unbanked, collapsing swoop turn with a sudden dogleg midway down. The lateral slam was exceptionally hard, giving this turn a reputation as a rib-cracker. The minor differences in this video is the turn from the station was flat, the rabbit hop was a dogleg & the turnaround was completely different. Mountain Park one of the most beautiful amusement parks I've ever been to. Good video!

Except the Thunderbolt was NOT a smooth ride as depicted. There were lots of bumps and the bar across your lap really hurt.

Back seat ride, train leaves lift hill at 4:30 and arrives back into the station at 5:15 making the trip from top of lift hill and back to station in 45 seconds. When I operated the coaster I recorded the same time. Also I timed the train with a full load and an empty load. Guess what? Load had no affect on the speed of the train. Both empty and full trains made the trip in the same 45 seconds.
