Si les fleurs Qui bordent les chemins Se fanaient toutes demain Je garderais au cœur Celle qui S'allumait dans tes yeux Lorsque je t'aimais tant Au pays merveilleux De nos 16 printemps Petite fleur d'amour Tu fleuriras toujours Pour moi Quand la vie Par moments me trahit Tu restes mon bonheur Petite fleur Sur mes 20 ans Je m'arrête un moment Pour respirer Ce parfum que j'ai tant aimé Dans mon cœur Tu fleuriras toujours Au grand jardin d'amour Petite fleur Dans mon cœur Tu fleuriras toujours Au grand jardin d'amour Petite fleur va

Wow i remember figuring this tune out from a very old video of stochelo rosenberg playing it on youtube. Now a year later i find the entire solo with tab really painful haha at least it was good training trascribing this solo from video and by ear

Moderate amount of technical skill but no soul. Disgusting bourgeoise playing from someone who can afford to play as a hobby.

The wonderful playing aside, I wonder how duved gets away with sitting right next to the amp and getting absolutely no feedback? I assume he is playing over the Henriksen, isn't he? Perhaps the video doesn't reflect the overall volume level well and they were a lot quieter than I think they were? Anyway, the whole band sounds really awesome. A sound I wish I could replicate. 😍

Are you not in standard tuning there? B string?
@cburgess2805
@cburgess2805 Жыл бұрын
@@wimglenn I would love to hear you thoughts on this tuning. I see it is popular for jazz improv and I can see why with the easy transposition.
@wimglenn
@wimglenn Жыл бұрын
@@cburgess2805 yeah that is the main thing - guitar is already easy to transpose horizontally but this tuning makes it easy to transpose vertically too. Dim7 is much easier (no annoying offset between G and B string) and playing in octaves is always 2 frets distance, not 2 or 3.

You know what I love most about listening to Django? Every single member of the band was giving the opportunity to shine, I feel this production is focused primarily on the band leader. Balance is first no?
@MrSpiro84
@MrSpiro84 Жыл бұрын
Youre wrong. Anyone in this band had opportunity to shine as in HCDF, all in their role respectfully. For example rhythm guitarist maybe started too slow, didnt shine too bright, but anyways great. Enjoy music

Nah. I think in Django music only Django and Stephane get to shine usually. The rest of the hot club quintet is just laying down the groove

It's taken me three or four days to figure out the first round on my own. Good to see I was on the right track, but now I'll just follow your finger work. I guess I'll have to adjust slightly because I was playing it in F. Looks like you are in E?
@wimglenn
@wimglenn 2 жыл бұрын
I’m playing it in F too but I tune in straight fourths (EADGCF) which means the top two strings are a semitone up. That could make an F look like an E ..
