It's very simple, once you understand how everything works in the template mechanics, you can easily add any character you want to the game, or you can replace the current characters if you want by simple Double-click on the Player object → replace all animations with your new character → apply → Done ! i added 2 characters in the game so you can easily follow how to add more characters to your game. And for backgrounds, same thing like characters, Double-click on the background object → replace the sprite with your own background sprite → Done ! Note: all events in the template are commented so you can understand how everything work in the template :3

Hello, well this is the closest template for Terraria, but if you can't get it, it's ok, you can check GDevelop official KZfaq channel, they got a lot of tutorials, you can start building the game slowly while learning, and for multiplayer, lucky you, gdevelop added a new multiplayer system in the engine, that takes few clicks to make a multiplayer game !

Hello, i just tried the game, and its working fine, i can join the host without any problem, if Firebase is blocked to you, that can cause that problem, try the game again with VPN to make sure. Not sure what you mean by original psd labels. the template comes with all the assets used in it.

@@user-lp5eu9rf1k In Impostor Alert Template, i use Firebase to be able to share the short generated code with others, but you can stick with the long generated code, in that case there is no need for Firebase.

@@VegeTatoGDeveloper Thank you for your responses. I asked about the PSD because I bought one of your templates similar to Minecraft, and all the text elements are generated images. So, to create another level with a different description, I would need to draw a button in the same style, for example. I want to understand how the text is presented here, is it also images? If they are images, are there source files available to easily modify the text? I want to buy this template and make some minor changes. If I don’t have the possibility to use Firebase, will the network play still be available? What technology is used for the online game mode? For example, if I just upload your example to my hosting, will I need to write any scripts or handlers for online requests, etc.? Also, I don't understand how to join a host ID of players who are online and waiting for the minimum number of players to start the game. I assumed that the point of the network game is that the players don't know each other and therefore can't enter the host ID. Does this happen automatically somehow?

@@user-lp5eu9rf1k not sure what you mean by (Generated images), some of the texts are images (done by me in Aseprite), and other texts uses Bitmap font (which come included with the template assets folder), so its mixed, but if you want to change/add/modify any text, you can simply use Bitmap font, or if it's an image, you can draw a new one in Aseprite. First, you need to modify the template events to not use Firebase (very simple), and for the online mechanics, the template uses P2P, and ICE server to protect players IP. so if you get the template → remove the Firebase usage from the events → you can give the Long generated ID to your friends to connect and play with you without any problem (no additional scripts required). This template uses P2P, which require the players to enter the host ID in order to join, but very soon, i will add lobbies system to the template (which allow you to join any host without entering the ID, so you can play with strangers as well), but this also will require Firebase usage.

THNK extension is free ! you can check it out here: thnk.cloud For LAN, it does support it, however, you need to make some workarounds to get it to work on LAN (offline), THNK fully supports online by default. THNK have 2 adapters (P2P and Gecko), for P2P, no need to code (just pure gdevelop events), and for the server you only need the default broker server (just an action in gdevelop, no codes, this template already includes all of that, and using P2P adapter) for Gecko, you need to build your own server (require coding), gecko is used for MMO games.

Thank you <3 since for you the host button is working fine but join button is sometimes yes sometimes no, my guess is, it's your internet connection, because Host, is immediate (not connecting to anyone) that's why it works immediately, while the join button depends on how fast/stable your internet is, so if for you sometimes clicking join doesn't work, just click it again until you join, that's the only fix, or change your internet connection :3
