Lol probably not the vet silvers but I can spare the 8 cents for now. Some of the base inserts can be moved for a couple bucks but I just put most of them away in my collection boxes

Yeah the price is tough right now but should go down a little bit soon. Mosaic always starts off higher than it should and goes down in price over the next month after release

At this point I’m just holding. We’re almost at the end of the release cycle for 2023 and I don’t think prices will go down much from this point. Hopefully Wemby starts the year hot and makes an all nba team next season! I’m a long term holder and love watching him play. He’s good for the league as Lebron and others get to retirement age

@@IProXie I use sleeves with precut corners to help avoid the card getting caught up and potentially dinged during sleeving. I purchase them from cardshellz.com for fairly cheap but if you want, you can just cut regular sleeves with scissors. If you go that route, make sure the sleeves are tall enough and the length of the cut isn’t too much otherwise the corner of the card will be exposed. I think the card guard brand sleeves are tall enough but I’ll have to check dimensions again.

Just the timing of releases each year. They don’t start releasing the new classes until late into October/November so you end up with some crossover

Probably Reed Sheppard as of right now lol but I feel you. These prices are pretty crazy and will remain high due to breakers being able to make profit regardless of how high prices get. These FOTL videos are mainly for your guys' entertainment and I'll never recommend anyone buy these specific boxes when on a budget. They obviously have huge hits but the floor can be back breaking. Prices overall should come back down a bit with the 2024 class unless someone completely defies expectations. As for current reasonably priced products, I try my best to find and review those as well. For example, the Elite International box I reviewed a couple weeks ago is a great budget hobby box with chance at big Wemby cards. It's gone up a little bit in price since then after word got out but still a solid buy at around 150. I'm always looking for stuff like that so you may see more on the channel at some point

Those are super nice cards! If you sold the red cracked ice early you’re probably good. I think the Wemby market is down overall a little bit since then and probably won’t go back up significantly until he starts playing again or reaches his next significant milestone in his career.

@@TheCologneist1 I smirked because I wasn’t expecting to see him on the checklist. Also if you knew much about the hobby and card values, most vet and legends autos like that aren’t worth all that much. Obviously he was a great player and I wish the card values reflected that but unfortunately that’s not the case. Still a cool card that I’m keeping in the collection like most of the other legend autos I pull. Also the gold was easy to miss because the regular stare master mosaic parallel inserts already have both orange and smaller amounts of gold in the design, and I’m looking through a phone camera while trying to speak to an “audience” at the same time. That’s why I immediately noticed it was gold the next time I saw it when I was sorting through everything and my mind wasn’t occupied with several other things. Don’t worry about the condition. It was placed on top of another card before being sleeved between packs, which I cut out in the video for sake of brevity. The algorithm pushes videos that get heavy engagement and my core audience helps push that through because they enjoy my content. I appreciate you stopping by though and helping push it out even further like everyone else new that’s watched my video. These videos and the money i spend aren’t for nothing and I understand these boxes are expensive otherwise I wouldn’t take the extra time to provide objective recommendations to help others make decisions on whether or not to buy certain products.
