ok I've made up my mind. The income generated from YieldMax ETF's is too unstable for me. Looking at their returns, in some cases you'd be better off just holding the stock instead. TSLY for example has had horrible returns in the past year compared to TSLA, even when you account for the yield.

If the put got exercised, it would've been at a loss for the person on the other side. So I was not worried.

I would never buy airlines stock, it's a waste of money they just keep your capital tight and the security never goes anywhere. Airlines are terrible investments, if I had to buy airlines stock I would go with delta it's the best airline stock.

If the strike price is above the current price at expiration then you get to keep your shares of the stock so the convered calls expire worthless and you get to keep the premium right? So you didn't have any lost of return?

My friends you're doing pretty good. People are delusional in the market. They will look at your results or your activity and they will claim something to it that had nothing to do with what you're trying to do. Never let the other people get in your way. Remember you're here for you. It's your future your financial future. You would do a lot better if you added dividend investing to your portfolio because that's mostly what the s&p 500 is. No dividends. You can't really meet them when they pay out. They push that stock ETF up. That's just the point from me in my opinion. You're doing fine. Don't worry about the comment. Don't even worry about mine just to keep doing for yourself and your future. Love your video okay and you're very very transparent. Very good. Enjoy your day Sir

Biggest reason is probably SOFI. It's a big part of my portfolio and it's down 32% this year.

Since you aren't investing in just the S&P500, nobody can expect your portfolio to follow it and you can be up in one time range but down in another when comparing. For the 1 year performance you are doing great at 36.74% compared to the S&P500 at around 24%, but shorter term in the last 6 months you are trailing as you said. Perhaps you could analyze what you might be doing differently and try to return to the times when you were outperforming. I usually land between the SPY and QQQ index but it can definitely vary depending on the different time frames since I hold about 25 different companies. I figure since my 401k is invested in the world MSCI index, I wanted to give it a shot of picking individual stock winners in my Fidelity accounts and so far I'm outperforming the MSCI world index and competitive with the S&P500 and Nasdaq which was my goal.

Enjoy following your journey but your YTD vs only 13.13% vs S&P (15.14%). Seems like your doing lot of work to just trail Market by 2pts. Have you consider other option strategies that offer better ROI? Cheers

I am simply sharing my positions and returns, whatever they may be. Also, I'm not doing a lot of work. Most of the time, I don't actively do anything at all. Even in this video, at 06:34 I explain that I made no changes to my portfolio. I've already done spreads, iron condors, etc. and have settled on my current strategy for now.

If you're a beginner on robinhood, it's actually very simple and easy: buy and hold SPY. That's it. In fact, that's not just for beginners. Most active investors do not beat the returns of SPY, including myself.

When you collect a premium while your margin is deployed, does it immediately go into your margin amount instead of into your buying power as a way of offsetting the amount of margin that is actively being used?

The premium from the covered calls immediately affects the amount of margin used. The amount of margin used is calculated with this formula: Value of stocks - covered call premium - portfolio value = margin used. In my case, $213,415 - $6169 - $95619 = $111,627 margin used.
