Idling the engine while removing a glow plug could be a very useful tip. For anyone (like me) who's trying to learn about this job as much as possible before trying it I have a suggestion. Get hold of some old glow plugs (A friendly garage might help with some they're just going to bin anyway), clamp them well in a vice and practice snapping them with an ordinary socket wrench and/or torque wrench. The idea is just to get a feel for how much torque is needed and to see where and how they break. Another tip (from working on old wooden doors) is the tap-n-twist method used to remove those awful old screws with just a worn and rusty slot to apply torque to. Using a hammer, tap rapidly the end of your screwdriver as you apply a firm twist anticlockwise. The "rebound" to each tap actually pushes the screw back up, aiding your unscrewing in the process. Some have applied this method to glow plugs. I'm not sure it works in exactly the same way but it seems to help - perhaps by breaking up the seal between the plug and engine around the threaded part or the shaft between the thread and the exposed tungsten core which sits inside the cylinder. Be careful not to strike too hard or onto your best ratchet though - might damage the mechanism. Probably best just to use a simple wrench or just the extension.

The opening where you slid down the snow on your butt and kept going a bit when you hit the grass shows how steep it really is. Once you add a bike to the equation with all the weight and it is hard not to just tumble and slide down that whole face.

@2WheelDerness

not the ratchet was slipping, glowplug was stuck in the block and moving just 1-2 degrees at a time. the carbon buildup seems massive on that particular engine. broked few flexible joints on that day, but was happy none of the glowplugs broke.

the mileage is not an issue, they just programmed them bad from the factory. The guy who did my ECU can program it but is in Romania, so don't know how to do it remotely it wont work because he needs to take the ECU off the car and manually connect to it. But in principle, any tuning shop can do it, also the guys who do dpf off, stage 1, 2, etc. I didnt care about heaving more power so I let the power map as it was and increased the fuel only until car starts.

No, all was good. I found the issue quite hard, first I checked fuel pressure, injectors, electrical (starter, etc), fuel pump, other sensors, etc. All seem in very good values and working as they should. Than I found some Polish guys talking about this byt not much info about what they changed. After some more digging I found this root cause. Also, I brought this car on winter and I saw like 5 more before this and all started bad when cold, so I figure it out is something common. Since the software update I never had any issue with starting on any temp.

So the problem was wrong factory fuel map. It has to less fuel on low rpm (when cranking) and when temp is bellow +15 Celsius. Increasing the fuel in those conditions with ~40% fixed the issue. Changes affected only low rpm and on low temp, after engine starts it still runs on factory map
