Go down the mountain in the same gear you went up. Use the engine to keep you slow and use the brakes only to keep you slow and don't ride them. That will help keep them from getting too hot and fade or worse. There are emergency ramps on the side of the mountain if you do lose your brakes.

Next time you're in SD avoid the south bay beaches. They are the most polluted waters on the West coast of the USA. Thanks to Tijuana. The city South of the border has no working sewer system and it is a major problem. So go a little further North of that area.

When you said the river is coming from the glacier you were just on you were wrong the Athabasca river comes out the other side of the glacier and that river is coming from a different glacier that flows into the Athabasca river
