I have a question for you. You have another video No crank no start 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L That video does not allow for comments. I have the same exact situation. Did you ever figure it out?

It was a ground issue with the fuse box. And some wires were chaffing as well. Hope that helps.

2:11 mark: "Why did they do that?" In order to free up the cylinder without the key. 3/8 - 1/2 in. drill bit will obliterate the tumblers of older model ignition cylinders. Thus, it frees the cylnder to move without the key. Sometimes it is required to replace in the event no key/wrong key is provided with the vehicle. Sometimes original owners can be vindictive.

Aye how did you get the whole thing out? after they drill it I have the same problem I can’t get mine out cause can’t turn the key anymore.

Could yiu still a screw driver inthere to try and turn it? If so then turn it all the way to run position (right before start) and underneath is a pin that you push with something like a pick or a very thin screwdriver and it will unlock the cylinder letting it slide out when you pull it .
