What a lovely video. I love how u can see the evolution in every year. Minecraft PvP 1.7 will forever remain one of coolest competitive games ever. This was such a fire video. The part of you 1v1ing Drummer and Stimp in 2016 while also combing the fights with them from previous years was so good. Thanks for sticking around all these years bro. I remember when you and DJTasty were some rivals cause of the igns, and i always thought you were better lol. @@talentedyoungman8922 nah not a dumb question at all. i used to log on servers back then without even thinking about this and the topic of kb didn’t hit me until it started getting edited to be significantly lower and lower on servers as time went on. kohi and maybe old badlion? were close to vanilla kb for a bit, pvp gym had it for a little bit, and anteiku has it but that’s a whitelisted server. probably more as well that i’m not thinking of atm.

This video gives a lot of nostalgic vibes, you did an amazing job. Most of the players that played around the first period of mc will never enjoy the game as when they were younger, it was a completely different vibe playing as a kid. Also seeing some old players appear out of nowhere just to comment makes the whole video even better

It’s obviously bias but I don’t think there’s anything elsewhere else that brings the same feelings as nostalgia from being in the pvp comm, it’s such a bittersweet feeling. I’m very thankful I was able to grow up in this community, and these memories bring warmth and comfort of a simpler time, but man while these memories are great there are days where there’s nothing I miss more than old mc and it makes me sad the game isn’t like this anymore. When I think of the peak of pvp in 2014-2016 I think about how precious and beautiful life is, and how incredible it is that we were all in this corner of the internet by chance, and made some of the greatest friendships and memories. It’s hard not to watch these videos and think about how good you had it in the moment when you were not aware of how much things can change in a moment. Tomorrow is not promised, and it’s a miracle that we made it this far. It may be a simple block game and a spec of dust in the scope of humanity, a wrinkle in our lifetimes, but the fact we all got to experience something so engaging collectively, is a blessing in itself. Life is beautiful and even the smallest most insignificant parts of life like playing games after school or during the summer when you were young, is awe inspiring, and a reminder of how incredible it is that we are alive right now and our society is so advanced. There’s a lot of negative in the world, even negative in this comments section and in this very video, but we can cherish the positive. - fourtey

Fuck man, this comment made me think how absurd it is that in the span of our life, we all collectively bonded and obsessed over a very specific time, 2014-2020ish, a very specific minecraft version: 1.7 pvp, with a very specific enchantment kit and splash potions of healing lol. But Where competitive drive, careers and friendships were created. in like 50 years gaming will be so unthinkably advanced and We will remember the first moments playing Kohi ranked on some stupid old work laptop that you borrowed from your parents. Completely insane
