I think it's just because it's a level 7 without overflow. In my opinion, the Ace is better in literally every other category.

The lower end is the only thing affected by the boosts on BT13. Because they increase the maximum. The second kill shot on that effect has no Maximum, only a minimum.

Well so far we are well beyond the 16th and still no cards here ( really frustrating). I like gallantmon great digimon wanne try make it work as well as possible i really like the profile i might make it my first go template and then go from there. Also totally get the being a dad and having a brain that aint working well all the time ( part of the dads club myself ) so always look it up and pass on the right info rather then trying to remember and passing on wrong info ( just my 2 cents on that tho ) Great profile thnxs folks for theorycrafting this one!

Yeah, same our way too. I've seen one place selling singles but holding out until I've opened some sealed. That choice, however, is getting harder and harder to stick to! Thanks for the dad-empathy, hard enough remembering decks I do play let alone ones I don't! And thank you for the feedback, took a few drafts but this is the one we all settled on.

BT 17 Yellow Agumon is Dog Water effect wise. I do not recommend running it at all. EX 4 is better.

That's fair. As I said in the video, I'm not really a Shine player so I just wanted to see how yellow we could potentially go. EX4 is definitely great for that start of main.

I feel like I'm leaning more towards the yellow build. I like the bt17 support and want to give it a try. The lvl 7 numbers is a bit high so might take out the ruin mode and of thebother bursts for some potential security bombs

@@UlforceMagna For sure! As I said in the video, I built that as a non-Shine player and just wanted to fit in anything I could. In retrospect, my build probably needs some streamlining. But as a guide, I think it does the job. Hope your build goes well!

Nice profiles i think ill do a mix some cards like the lvl 3s ( the older ones ) are just too good compared to the new card but i like some of the new yellow stuff so kindda see where we going with it. Having said that i hope u guys are having more luck getting your boxes cause i just foned where i ordered from and they still dont have it so more waiting i suppose ex7 due to come out in like what 3 / 4 weeks if that..... Anyways nice profiles!

I started building a fun Omni deck just because I LOVE the Digimon movie part with Omnimon. But some cards got expensive as hell. Sec Melga is 40 bucks upwards here in Germany, Alter B as well. I will try to build the budget version with basically only the stuff and the cheap cards. Still need 4 white greymon and 2 Omni ace.

Oof. Yeah, prices are not fun on those right now. I was pretty lucky, got the Melga on mates rates and got Alter B fir just under £20.00 on eBay. You could definitely play a more budget version of the deck though. Maybe leaning into some of the Alter S stuff as you can still DNA into that on your turn or on the opponents with Miraculous Mega Knight. Definitely some room to cut corners. Omnimon X BT10 could be your Alter B replacement as well. Tech in X Antibody BT9 too, which is something I'm tempted to do to better facilitate that combo.

I feel like a lot of people are relying too much on Takemiki as Pulsemons top end. In my opinion I believe our top end should be aiming to go into Kazuchimon & Shroudmon to end matches. Takemiki in a pulsemon deck feels like Omnimon blitz.

I get you. I'm stuck between the more pure Pulse deck and the Takemikazuchi build. I think I am still leaning towards the Takemikazuchi build though because it really gives the deck some fire power. Plus, because Takemikazuchi has Pulsemon in it's own text, it still reaps the benefits of all of your Pulsemon inheritables. I really like the card and really appreciate that it can work I'm both Pulse and Looga.

@DUDigimon you can still run Takemiki and Fenrir, but what I'm implying is that Takemiki feels like an omnimon blitz. Pulesemon can still do lots of dmg be it chip dmg. With my time with the deck I have the fenrir cards at 1 for both because I'm focusing more towards consistency and dmg control.

Been playing a lot of pulsemon leading up to bt17, and find that the engine plays extremely well with the etemon/valk ace line. Boutmon puts a lot of decks in check with a protected body that either goes into kazuchi or threatens valk if you don’t interact. I also run kazemon to hybrid over Leon and go into my 5’s for extra ultility. Would highly recommend!

Great profiles i like the second profile a bit better just cause im a shroudmon fan its a great card. Also did u see the new tyrannomon support we might be getting closer to a full tyranno / dino deck! Also new xcross cards looking great but hoping to see the new blue flare stuff soon just thinking we will have new blue flare cause new xcross cards mention blue flare. Also dont know if im just imagining things but the audio sounded a bit quiet (might just be me tho) Anyways thnxs for the profiles!

Ah, cheers! Yeah, I love Shroudmon too. I'm definitely more excited by the Takemikazuchi version though. I have indeed seen the new Tyrannomon support and I am 100% here for it. Tyrannomon has needed a bit of a face lift for a while and the new support looks great. My only gripe is that Dinomon doesn't have Tyrannomon in it's name or a rule text to treat it as Tyrannomon. If it did, the old BT2 Taiga would still be really good as it gives all the Tyrannomon piercing. I know Charles will be very excited for any Blue Flare support so hopefully you both get your wish! If the was quiet it may be because I have swapped mic cables as the old one was causing a hum. Now that I've changed cables, I can mess around with the DB of the audio so it should be easily fixed.

Nice profile's my man! I will for sure be playing dia without the clock card lets just be honest 1 ends up in the trash and all 4 cards are pointless. Also yea UK screwed again thnxs to a shit distributor honestly i hope they get their shit in line its just so disappointing ordering a couple boxes get all excited to sit down and rip them open and then asmodee goes ' whoaaa there lads and lasses no boxes for any of u till another week'. Its just getting so goddamm old seeing everyone have the cards and boxes and we here just have to wait longer. Anyways rant over.

Any recs for swapping out bt17 greymon and the 5th metalgar (think its bt15?). I just dont have the cards lol everything else is in the mail but i forgot about the white greymon.

Hard to say. The MetalGarurumon is hard to substitute. You could maybe try the old BT5 one for the inheritable but you lose the back up warp from the BT15. Or maybe the Ace MetalGarurumon? Gains you memory when you play it or digivolve but then you've got more overflow to contend with. As for Greymon, you could maybe go for BT12 Greymon so that you can play the tamers? Again, tricky to substitute as it has the deletion effect and the tamer on deletion effect.

Interesting. I'm only running the 1x Omnimon X and no alter-b, of course I don't have Alter-B. Tamer wise I only went 2x Tai & Kari, with 2x St15 Tai. Also have a full set of BT12 Agumon and one more BT14 Wargreymon.

In testing the new Bt17 Greymon works amazing in AguBond! But admittedly not that great in Greymon Tribal as being a stack based you really dont want it in back. And out in the front youd only be able to evo it up on a searcher you dropped so itll likely only have +1k from the bt12 Agu you dropped so itll only pop 6k which ..isnt bad...but misses out on not having Koromons 3k boost. And then you are locked into only evoing it into Bt12 MGM as no other (MGX9,11, Bt8) can evo off of it since its White. Only St15 MGM and Bt14 Ace are your only valid target and we know those arent ideal in tribal builds. So a 6k pop is nice at times..getting another search from AguX ontop is admittedly nice but i just dont think its fully worth it. If you decided to run Bt17 Greymon i definitely wouldn't add it in the OTK variant. It has potentially utility in Toolbox or BWG.

@DUDigimon See, here's where I disagree! It's perfect for digivolving. So let's say you set up with an Agumon in the back. You promote into the field of play and then digivolve into the White greymon. You then use an Agumon, or Agumon X in your hand, and digivolve off the 'Koromon' you have just digivolved into. You can then proceed to go up the line with an extra body for fodder for the X-Antibody protection. As a two of it's great, and can get you a 9-10k clearance early game.

With how fast the game is now the stack you start with in back has to be your committed stack so having it saved for the bt17 play isn't worth it imo unless you're playing midrange Toolbox. Plus now you're wasting resources on a stack that'll likely be killed. Again I could eat my words and end up loving it in Tribal but from my testing already I much prefer just keeping a St1 Grey in back and building up to promote as a MGM when it's go time. In theory Bt17 Grey sounds amazing but when you realize how situational it is to climb up after it gets awkward (unless it's your promoted stack as it'll benefit from the Koro and being treated as such with the ability to evo into even a normal Agumon. Otherwise you're locked into AguX, Bt12 MetalGrey and Bt14 WarGreymon as a Warp for evo targets after.

@@DUDigimon I've played a few games with the omnimon deck so far really enjoying how it works, im hoping to see a dexdorugoramon deck or a gallantmon deck profile in the future from you as I've had a hard time working out the ratios with gallantmon and would like to see your opinion on the new support, as well with dexdorugoramon while I want to use the Dorumon cards as a base, the loogamon base with the eiji tamers definitely offer better consistency and with the new egg you can digivolve into your dorugamons from trash so theirs no worry in trashing any cards, but anyhow keep it up love the videos.

I haven't seen the actual matches yet but can i just say i find it a bit wierd the pack open sim doesnt pop out proper packs with i do think is not completely fair cause ur missing out on a lot of rares here which could be super usefull. Lets be honest ur already going junk deck vs mostly meta decks and then also missing out on a load of rares its just really harsh.

Yeah, got super unlucky on this one. Annoyingly, this was the second time I filmed episode 2 and the pack opening before was GOATed. Pulled multiple secret rares lots of really good stuff. Definitely felt like quantity over quality in the pack opening that made it to film. Hopefully, next time will be better.

Let's goooo! Can't wait for this so I can compare it to mine. I'm going to do a lot of experimenting between the two different Omnimon DNA decks, especially when it comes to using the new stuff in Alter-S. And even just using the old Alter-S lines combined with the new stuff to turbo out Wargrey/BlackWargreymon. Because those lines let you ping pong back and forth while using the new tamer to keep turn and then get into a MetalGrey X , get his immunity, then go into BlackWar or Wargrey with blocker/reboot. You could even run a completely normal line of Greymon with the new Melga added in to have a more controlly or OTK build. BT12 Wargrey, unsuspend, swing again. Hard drop melga, DNA, swing with omnimon, unsusbend, swing again potentially for game depending on inheritable effects.

Too bad that josh never got to a shroudmon obviously pulse stuff isnt super strong it really needs its too end at least till bt17. Couple of color matching mistakes as mentioned in the vid not 100% if it would have made a difference cause again pluse just didnt get off the ground. Often times when i play bt16 pulse i just use raising to get to shroud safely but coming bt17 the deck can get a bit more aggressive.

As too who to cheer for is so hard cause there are some really cool decks in here that i have build myself as well. Shroudmon is an absolute unit when u get him out so he is for sure a watch out for that one. The dragons linkz is one of my favorites its dragons doing dragon stuff as always if the deck gets the hina out early then they having a good time if not then not ofc. Have to say my personal fav who ill be rooting for is the myotismon that Leo is running its very much in the spirit with one of my top 5 favorite decks. Again looking forward to it yall have a great time and ofc have fun!

Just a quick reminder u cannot stick 3 under sanzo and play for 1 if u look at the xcross required ull see a / in between the names instead of x therefore u can only choose 1 to use for xcross ( ull also see on shakkamon that the x is used there too instead of the / because u can use all 4 mats for shakkamon ) For the rest tho great profile! Its kindda like my guilty pleasure deck just love it when it works right and ur just handing out -sec till then 1 turn ur like oke shak coming out and now i go do like 4ish checks XD. Also im totally in the hate ukka camp but unfortunately for this deck i myself also run bt16 ukka cause u just really need the search off it if u dont hit our searcher lady. Again great profile well put together hope to see it in action soon!

I use 2 wave of darkness…that card is crazy clutch at times no lie …I had the debate between that and mist …I ultimately chose wave cause I’m trashing 3 and getting a card for 1 memory and I might mill off wiz or death …plus I’m digging in my trash more for continuous ammo …I love when they hit in security and I gain memory for the trash or I got the starter deck one by chance and I plus memory crazy lol 😮I also use ruin mode lol …him off Baalmon combo to ex 6 de digivole mil 4 slap him on top …oppression lol

I get where you are coming from. Extremely powerful card. For me, I think an errata would do the job. Make it's effect specifically required Magnamon or X Antibody instead of the Armour Form. Then it wouldn't be as splashable on stuff like Yellow Armour. There are also a fair few decks that just ignore Magna entirely. Numemon goes so wide that blocking twice is irrelevant, Mirage can make itself unlockable etc.

@@DUDigimon an Errata could work but it still leaves the problem of trying to get rid of it if we can't attack it with that buff and immunity sure now that card is not splashable so now everyone gonna be playing veemon variation. if they want to errata make it that it's only digimon effect they are unaffected and can be affected by option cards.

I personally haven't tested SkullMammothmon, but I could see it working within the strategy. Personally, I prefer the Dark Animal/Shaman synergy but you could always tech in a few more Undead bits like BT8 Dracmon. Try it out I say!

Cimo's series only works because it's an official SIM filled with bots and the only way to get more cards is to play a lot. So, most of the new people may not have advanced strategies. In this SIM, we have access to everything. You may never win because everyone will be playing constructed decks because you just get everything you need. You'll be more frustrated than anything.

No doubt you are correct, but maybe that makes it more masochistic? 😂 On a serious note, may look at reworking it if it ever get's too frustrating to play. Possibly start the series again along side another member of the team, maybe work this in as part of a different series. It's all about experimenting with what works and what doesn't. And, of course, doing whatever is more fun! 😊

I really really like this! If i might suggest 1 small change tho is to maybe find someone ( probs within the group ) to do the same thing as your doing and then playing against each other cause honestly playing a mix match deck against meta decks / fully formed decks might be a little too rough. Great vid tho love the idea!

@@DUDigimon they dont even have to download it , you can litterly drop it on a flash drive and they just have to copy the files to their pc if that helps. Great vid tho really cool idea :) i love building decks and seeing as i mostly buy about 2 boxes of any set im always looking around my other cards what i can use to fill new decks with and such and it kindda gives me those vibes. The kindda vibes where its like well darn i dont have 4 copies of this card i need oo well ill have to find 2 copies of something else to replace that with. Ofc its a bit more random then that but hopefully u get my drift.

@@melvanaltena83 That's a good point actually! Should be able to just send a zip file to them. Good shout! Yeah, I get what you mean. Deck building is some of the most fun I have in the game to be honest, especially when we have to figure out certain solutions with a more limited card pool!

Yessir. Ive been dabbling back in BlackWarGrey OTK again myself. Solid list. Ive been utilizing lightning joust, rowdy rocker and Hiro bt8 in mine.

Yeah, one of my favourite variations of Greymon if not my absolute favourite. Really solid ideas, Rowdy Rocker especially is intriguing and have had that mentioned to me before. Funnily enough, I'm using Hiro and Lightning Joust in my Tyrannomon deck so definitely tempted to try those out in BWGM OTK. 🔥

@@BboyStunna That's cool! I've stuck with it being Green but am using the fact we have quite a few green/red Tyrannomon, plus the Hiro, so I can make Rust as big as possible.

22:45 You could have resolved the lucemon effect before the gate effect, as they trigger together. Furthermore, you could have killed the opponent's Digimon lv 5 or lower through Lilithmon's effect, as it says only digimon , so it could be any Digimon on the field.

17:06 You cannot use the maximum cost reduction of the gate, because there were only 4 cards with different names under the gate and there needed to be 5 for the effect to occur. you could only reduce it by 9.

Thank you for pointing these out dude! I figured I'd just reply to one of your comments so you're not getting too many notifications! Absolutely correct on all three cards. This was filmed on the day of release so Charles was still very much learning the deck. I'll notify him of his misplays so he knows better for next time, cheers again! 😊

Yeah, I've seen some people playing around with that. Seems like a cool idea but I traded away my huankunmon just before making this profile so decided to be a bit more classic whilst also recognising that Biyo is more useful in this particular style of the build.
