HI!! Pls I need ur help immediately!!! My puppy’s name is Tapri. So I was on vacation for a few days and I left my puppy (Labrador mix) with my grandparents. I came back after 10 days. The day that I came he was playful, happy and eating well. After that day he was suddenly tired and sad. He doesn’t wag his tail, throws up, doesn’t eat, doesn’t drink. He only want to lay down. Now I dont think we fed him anything toxic for dogs. I would go to the vet myself but my parents say “it’s just a dog”. I begged them but they still don’t let me. I have searched on the internet for smth but I am not finding anything. It’s been the 2nd day that he barely ate. PLS AND I MEAN PLS ANSWER AND GIVE ME SOMETHING PLS!! THIS IS MY ONLY HOPE

i think its still fair to warn people that its not the career a lot of people think it is. It is legitimately so stressful and really takes an emotional toll. Yes there are good and amazing times. But that being said the reality is that a veterinary career is a far cry from the sunshine and rainbows peopl think that it is. if you want to get into vet, do it, but DO YOUR RESEARCH. Seriously.

I was planning on studying for vet assistant because since i was little i’ve always loved helping animals and had always watched videos on them, now i really wanted to study to be a vet assistant but saw the Salarys and it’s below what i am currently making which is 18.55$ an hr. So I decided to search up for vet tech and realized for everything they so they get payed 23$ an hr here in las Vegas. Sadly they pays are too low😔For the yr of study. Can you please shed some light on this subject for me. I get so confused and frustrated on the subject. There are a lot of canine nutritionists pushing fresh foods. They make a lot of sense. I know they need very little training to be a nutritionist. I hold the time and education vets and board certified veterinarian nutritionists have in high regard. But all I see they talk about is kibble. And just the big three. Purina, Hills, Royal Canine. Why isn't there any advice on fresh food for your dogs. How can kibble be better than real food. At least some real food. Vets and the canine nutritionists seem so far a part on even what a better kibble is. I don't understand.

I'm an LVT in Texas. I just want to mention, I work in one of the greatest specialty hospitals in the Houston/Spring Branch area, if you know, you know. I just want to say, Technicians get the shortest stick in the bunch. It's so bad, that some of the assistants even get better pay, than some of the LVTs. It is INSANE. Makes no damn sense, especially because we literally do everything for our patients and care so much for them (most of us). It's a slap in the face when you put your all into your work and patients, just to get bombarded with BS from leadership, rude/uncooperative clients/ rude or disrespectful Doctors, and overworked and underpaid. I seriously love what I do. But it's eats away at me some days, and it sucks when you struggle to pay your bills when you feel like you do a good job.. this field needs to change the way it views its LVT and techs. Because if it doesn't change, soon enough yall won't have any technicians anymore. To all the Doctors that genuinely care about ALL their staff, yall are the Gems that this world needs for everyone to be happy and I greatly appreciate everything you do for both your staff and patients. ❤

I worked as a vet tech for my first job. it was just as I expected, but I could not survive on that pay when McDonalds would pay me more. very stressful but I was still being trained. its hard to be trained in a vet clinic because everyone is constantly busy so if I had a question idk it was hard but I for sure liked the experience. respect to the vet clinic techs and receptionists. receptionists basically run the place

Hii mam my dog is severely ill for a year for cold and nose block and we got it treated with many vets there are no many good vets in our place but we had made my dog to take injection and all it's still not cure now his whole face will get sollen if not gives the medication and the injection have bursted out of is nose on skin and it's leaking with pus i don't know what to do .
